OMG, I'm so pleased i bought this motherboard, i was looking for something very reliable and with zero flaws, finally got it!!!. Candidates were evga, abit and asus ( they are good quality, but no as good as intel)...
System configuration is:
Intel C2D E6600
Intel XBX2 Bad Axe 2
2 x 1024 Corsair xms2 pc2 6400 c4
Ultra X-finity 600 watts
Evga 8800 GTS 320 MB Superclocked
So far, this mobo, is the best component on my pc, will buy it a hundred times. Good overclocker, great bios, awesome Raid sata options, and one more thing, this mobo is future proof, you can get all intels cpus from Conroes to penryns and beyond!!!, SWEET!!!

I really like the Intel D975XBX2 Motherboard, mainly because it's compatible with both the older Pentium D and the newer Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad processors. I also respect the quality of the on-board networking and audio support. I use Fedora Linux and when the audio "just works" it's a real blessing. When I need to build a new box, this is the only board I use. The only other thing I'd mention is there is no on-board support for Ultra-ATA/133 drives, so be aware of that.

The D975XBX2 board is an excellent and strong Intel board.
The package has some really cool cables in it.There's also a wealth of information from motherboard manuals and stickers telling you how to install everything.With the Intel Desktop Board D975XBX2,your desktop PC will become the ultimate weapon.

I'm fan of Intel motherboards, but this one is not of the better, specially their LAN perfomance. The internet response is slow.
