Product Description 9 Functions: MP3 Player, Video Player, Photo Viewer, Voice Recorder, FM Radio, FM Recording, Game Player, Ebook viewer, & USB Drive File Formats: Music: MP3, WMA, Wav Video: AVI (Divx/Xvid) Video Resolution: 320x240 (Fits 6 movies) Photo: JPG How is this product different from Apple products? These generics look and feel the same. The differences are that these use mini USB, they will not use any Apple docking accessories. This will mount on your computer like a flash drive. MP3 files are copied over from one folder to another. No need for iTunes program. It does not have internet support either. These also cost about $150 less. Additionally, this unit has things iPods don't have, like FM Radio, E-Books, stylus and SD Memory slot. THIS DEVICE ONLY SUPPORTS REGULAR MINI SD CARD, NOT SDHC CARD.

Problem with playing video May 13, 2008 W. Zhu 32 out of 36 found this review helpful
I have seem many people that have problem with playing video files on this perticular player. The English version of the converting software on the CD is version 2.0. For some of the videos you want to convert, you will need version 3.0. We are the seller (Pro_eb) that is selling the same product on this page and we would like to help everybody out, regardless where you bought from. IF you contact us via the "Contact sell" option on the page, we will send you a newer version to convert videos. It will work well.
great player, some quirks, but all mp3 players have some June 12, 2008 Matthew T. Langdon 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
this player is great, like my title says it has a few quarks (like it will turn off on me if a song ends and i'm browsing the song menus for another song. But honestly that doesn't bother me as that happens very rarely). the screen quality is great too, it's very bright and detailed, the screen is pretty sensetive too, i don't know what the people mean by having to stab the screen, i just press it and it carries out my selection. So if you want a cheap touch screen mp3 player that can play some movies then this one's for you. p.s. that person really will send you a new conversion software program if you write him, i already have and he answered me back within a day.
Great Little Player June 30, 2008 Doris A. Thibodeaux (Lafayette, LA United States) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
First let me say, the customer service for this device is super. The player works great the only thing I needed was the update for video viewing and received this within 30 minutes and the video was up and playing within the next 30 minutes. Great video quality compatible with those Apple devices...we have 3 of those, so I know what I am talking about. The music player is great, the FM radio works great, and viewing photos is great. We have had the player for almost a week and my 8 year old grandson can navigate around the player just fine. The player is sturdy and is completely touch screen. I am very pleased with my decision to take a chance with this player. My 24 year old said she'd want one for her birthday if it was good quality, well guess what she is getting. She will love it. dathib
Good bang for the buck June 26, 2008 S. OTT (Miami, FL) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I bought the 8gb version off of ebay for around $85. Seen them as low as $79. As others have said, the interface is a bit quirky but not annoying IMO. I love the simple drag-n-drop for loading mp3 files. Converting video, including DVDs, was simple with the conversion software that came with it. I've seen some people complain about it, but they most have an older version. Depending on where and whom you bought from. They may inclose a website where you can download and update the conversion software (mine did, but wasn't needed) Depending on the file size and format of what you are converting can take anywhere from a few minutes to up to an hour. The biggest video I've loaded was 800mb. To convert and load took about 20 minutes. For about $20 more I can add a 4gb minisd card (For a total of 12 gb!) I have no real complaints about this product especially as I saved $200 over an ipod touch. Again, a little quirky, but easy to master IMO.
