Product Description Canon has poured all the Know How of its extraordinary history of developing innovative office machines into each of its copiers, printers, and networked office systems. The same superiority of design and manufacture goes into all of the Canon-branded consumable imaging supplies and parts for this equipment. Naturally, no one makes better parts and supplies for Canon products than Canon. Using genuine Canon parts and supplies is your best insurance against equipment damage, and possibly voiding your equipment warranty.

Don't be pennywise and dollar foolish! March 1, 2004 Stanmad (Bradenton, FL United States) 35 out of 37 found this review helpful
Stick with OEM and don't experiment with generic brands; it isn't worth it. I use this product on the S500 primarily for CD labeling...lots of graphics and color. Reproduction is excellent and I get my $$$worth. When you get the pop-up window stating that the ink is low for one color, don't think it is empty. Far from it....it can go several days with the pop-up still on low until it is bone dry.
Incompatible with i560 February 1, 2005 Adiv Abramson (Brooklyn, NY USA) 27 out of 32 found this review helpful
Do NOT buy this product if you have an i560. That model is not listed on the packaging. Amazon's search engine will incorrectly point to this product if you use the term "canon i560 ink" as I did. I had to send it back. Avoid the hassle by not buyinig this item if you have an i560.
Nothing Beats Genuine Canon Ink! November 22, 2003 21 out of 24 found this review helpful
If you have a canon printer you're probably very happy with its color reproduction. If you wish to keep that going stick to genuine ink. I recently bought generic ink in an effort to save a buck. What happened? I got horrible results! The "black" ink looked more like deep green, every picture I printed had an unatural color, and the colors were never in balance. Some colors would appear too strong, while others would appear weak. Most generic ink smells like permanent marker and doesn't last, the images fade quickly when placed regularly out in the open, genuine canon ink does not fade, and is practically odorless. The price of genuine canon ink is of course higher than the generic stuff, but you're paying for quality. If you want quality printing, you need quality ink. Don't buy generic, buy this instead!
Complete change of ink. September 27, 2002 R. Geissman (Lodi, OH United States) 14 out of 17 found this review helpful
OEM ink works best in Canon printers. No problems with clogged heads or bad print. I have had my Canon S600 for a year now and have never even put it through a cleaning cycle and it works perfect. This set has the three colored tanks and a black. I would suggest going directly to the office supply store that is supplying this to Amazon and get it from their site. They are always offering coupons and free shipping as well.
An excellent product !!! June 1, 2003 LOUIS PAONE (BRONX, NEW YORK USA) 14 out of 16 found this review helpful
I have a Canon Multi-Pass printer which printed outstanding color photos from my digital camera until I decided to purchase refurbished ink tanks at a very low price. DON'T DO IT!!! The ink that is used in refurbished tanks are inferior and caused me to ruin my printer head. The new head cost me $80. I now use the Canon Multi-Pack, which I purchase from Amazon at a really good price and I am back to printing great color photos once again. I learned my lesson the costly way, don't you.
