The Uniden EXAI378 series cordless telephone and answering system is designed and engineered to exacting standards for reliability, long life, and outstanding performance. The EXAI378 series features include AutoTalk and AutoStandby. AutoTalk allows you to answer a call by just removing the handset from the base so you don't have to waste time pushing buttons. AutoStandby allows you to hang up by simply returning the handset to the base.The UltraClear Plus true compander circuitry virtually eliminates background noise. This innovative technology, together with 20 different channels, provides you with the best possible reception during all your conversations. To protect you against misbilled calls which might result from your phone being activated by other equipment, the EXAI378 series has Random Code digital security which automatically selects one of over 262, 000 digital security codes for the handset and base. Also, the AutoSecure feature electronically locks your phone when the handset is in the base. Last but not least, this phone features RocketDial - a one-touch speed dial key that automatically dials your most important or frequently called number. The number dialed, is a preset number stored by the user.

I looked at other models and ended up not liking the reception of them and spend a little extra than planned and bought this one.. I LOVE IT!

The reception is great, the answerer is great, nice and clear and easy to operate...DEFINATELY spend the $ on this phone/answer... It's worth it

I was looking for a new cordless phone because I was having static and interference problems with my Sony. The reception on this phone is excellent with no static whatsoever, and now I can cover the entire house with no problems at all. The handset is light and feels very comfortable in the hand. The answering machine works as expected (not really looking for any advanced features here).

Overall it is a high quality, clear sounding cordless/answering machine that costs a lot less than some other bigger brand names.

The phone itself isn't bad, but I rated it a 1 star for the poor quality of voice/sound on the answering machine. I tried several digital answering machines and finally ended up with the Panasonic kx-tg2247s phone/answering machine. It works great and has good sound quality.

I can honestly say I regret buying this phone. With all the technology out there, I don't know how I ever found myself buying a 900 mhz ANALOG phone. To make a long story short, the reception is full of static and prone to be heard by neighbors. A neighbor picked up on my conversation ( I know it was him because I heard his pets in the background ). Also, the caller ID takes several rings to register the number. Spend a little more and go with a stronger transmission ( 2.4 mhz and digital as opposed to analog ).

Of all phones my wife and I have we are very happy with Uniden.We have three phones in our home that are best in class from Uniden.We fully recommend this phone to the up-most for the money.So easy to use!Check it out and you will be and see the clairity what this phone has to offer.We recommend this as your looking for a phone.We are sure you will be happy.We do give it 5 stars for sure.What a durible phone it is....
