This psu is quiet. The lengths of the wires suit the Antec P180B well as I have no trouble routing the wires into the lower and upper compartments and connecting the wires to the motherboard and drives. Only the wires powering the cpu and motherboard are sleeved though.

The Antec EarthWatts 430W power supply is the most quiet power supply I have ever seen - or heard in that matter - as it is perfectly silent. This unit provides a decent amount of power, and it is extremely efficient. The cables are somewhat messy to work with, but installing it inside your computer is a piece of cake.

Exactly what you're looking for in a power supply. I have it paired with a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L motherboard, an Intel E8400 cpu, one HDD, one DVD-ROM and a nvidia 8600GT video card. Quiet, stable and power to spare.

This is a great upgrade PSU when you need more power and more connectors. My Dell Inspiron 530 came with a 305W and I need just a bit more to run high-end graphics. This PSU swapped in without any problems. Very quiet, can't hear its fan at all normally.
The high efficiency rating and "in-between" wattage level mean you aren't wasting much juice like you might with a beefier 500 or 600w.
Other thoughts: The PSU cabling is long enough to reach things in a big mid-tower or even a full-tower, but in your average mini or micro-tower you'll need to tuck the excess away somewhere. There is an on-off switch on the back of the PSU which is a nice touch when you need to hard power-cycle the machine (don't have to unplug).
Antec products are good in general, and this one is no exception. Recommended!
