 Okay product, but too difficult to remove air bubbles March 26, 2008

This product works great on MACBOOK PRO 15.4 inch screens, but I found the application process to be too demanding. The seller provides a small lint cleaner to clean your screen with, but it is nearly impossible to get your screen perfectly clean unless you are in an airtight room. The problem is that any little piece of dirt/lint/dust creates little air bubbles, which are impossible to remove. I then tried cleaning the "sticky" side of the product, but this only smudged the plastic even worse. So, after 5 minutes, i was out $20. The thing is completely useless now. Admittedly, the problem is not with the product--it is just as promised; rather, the problem is with the installation process, which is much too difficult for the "average" user. If you have a clean room, which is particle free, go for it.

This product should not be on the market. There are two films to install and it's imposible to remove the air bubbles. No, matter how hard you tried-i tried to get rid of them for 2 hours-you cannot get rid of the air bubbles. You also don't want to press to hard like the instrution manuel says because it might crack the lcd display, or put one of those color spots on it. Since, it's a hassle to put it on to your screen; i just cut it and put it on the wrist rest of the computer and trackpad.

aside from a spare battery this is the best accessory for any laptop that doesn't already have a high gloss screen, even then it's a good idea to protect that expensive lcd screen. it took some time to get the air bubbles out but the wow factor is really high on this product!! it fit my macbook pro perfectly and i've got that shiny new high gloss screen! for these results i would have paid double the cost and been happy.

This product works extremely well and gives off no glare. The fact that you can wash and re-use the screen protector is an additional bonus feature. Although this is an excellent product, I give it a four because it is a very time consuming process to get the protector to line up with the screen and then attached without any air bubbles.

After reading the reviews here, I was a little worried about the difficulty involved in the installation process. The screen protector is as described and works as promised. What is difficult, is getting all the airbubbles out, and installing with no dust articles on the screen. This can be accomplished with assistance from a second set of hands. Clean your screen well, (use a little alchohol to remove grease and dust), then wipe down with the included dust removal cloth, making sure to get into the corners and edges of the screen. Using a vacuum cleaner, have an assistant hold the hose near (but not touching) your screen. This will remove any dust particles floating about. Align the screen protector. Remove one corner of the inside liner, press the screen protector down, and as you press out the airbubbles, continue to remove the rest of the backing as your work your way along. IT TAKES PATIENCE, but it can be done easily to get ALL the bubbles out. Remember ~ haste makes waste ~ so be patient and take your time doing this. Once in, its all worth it.
