Amazon.com Product Description The DLO Jam Jacket with earbud management is a superior, no-slip silicone case that adds a gripable layer of protection to your iPod touch. But grip is just the beginning--this high-quality, lint-free silicone case features a raised texture, corner bumpers, integrated Earbud Management and includes a free screen protector--all in one package! Get a Grip, and Tame Your Earbuds It's a Wrap! Tired of dealing with tangled cords and dangling earbuds? The Earbud Management System on the back of the Jam Jacket allows you to neatly wrap the cord behind your iPod, and safely stow your iPod earbuds while not in use. When it's time to jam, unwind only as much as you need--the handy side-notches will hold the cord in place, keeping the excess cable wrapped and out of your way. Total Protection + Access Jam Jacket protects your iPod touch body while the included DLO Surface Shield adds an invisible layer of protection to your multi-touch display. And unlike some cases out there, the Jam Jacket provides an opening for the ambient light sensor--meaning this case won't interfere with your iPod functionality like others that obscure the sensor. The Jam Jacket also features access to the iPod dock connector, so you can use your favorite charger or car accessory while your tunes stay protected. Go ahead, slip the Jam Jacket onto your iPod touch for gripable protection and headphone management in one unique case. What's in the Box Black Jam Jacket for iPod touch

Perfect Case and Cover for The iPod Touch November 20, 2007 D. Farley 50 out of 66 found this review helpful
The jamb jacket fits the iPod Touch like a glove. As the other reviewer said the raised corners offer a lot of protection if the iPod is dropped on a corner. I can't say how the ear buds fit in the holder on the rear because I use the Bose ear buds and have put away the ones form Apple. When trying to put on the surface shield, I noticed that there were specks of dust between the shield and glass screen that was creating air bubbles. I used a piece of Scotch tape and removed the dust from the "sticky" side of the surface shield. After removing the dust the shield went on fine with no bubbles. The touch screen works great with the shield.
DLO Jam Jacket With Cord Management & Surface Shields - A Good Standby Case March 3, 2008 Mark (NY, NJ, CT USA) 41 out of 42 found this review helpful
DLO Jam Jacket with Cord Management and Surface Shields for iPod touch (Black) The DLO Jam Jacket case protects your iPod Touch media player while providing a "wire Management" area on the back of the skin to hold your headphone wires while not in use. Pros + Nice durable silicon case protects your iPod Touch with minimal dust attraction + Included surface shields give you one less thing to purchase, great value! + Price is very attractive - Half of the Speck Toughskin + Rear cord management let you store your in-ear headphones neatly + Cord management area adds less bulk than other cord management cases + Hole for attachment of loop for case lanyard Cons - Case design requires removal for use with most iPod docks - Cord management area designed for Apple style in-ear headphones; most others won't fit - Few options for connecting case via belt clips or arm bands - Silicon is somewhat slippery and very thin compared to other thicker cases like the Speck Toughskin This is a great overall case to protect your player. The wire management feature adds only moderate thickness to it, certainly less than wire management areas on similar cases I've bought owned. Having wire management integrated with your case is a big advantage. And if you use the standard iPod headphones, or ones with the same form factor, this is probably one of the best cases for you. Still, some will opt to get separate wire winders for their phones and different cases, and here's why. These days most people are replacing their included headphones. Some iPod reviewers state with no hesitation, "just pay $300 to get decent headphones once you buy your iPod." I personally like Apple's included headphones and think they should be sufficient for basic users. The cord management area is designed for headphones shaped like Apple's. 90% of all other headphones simply won't fit into the included phone holes. The other major issue with this case is dock compatibility. Some have pointed out the case may prevent easy use with car mounts. But I was more surprised that the thick bottom corners prevented easy loading in my top down iPod dock even though the area around the port is open. Most of my silicon cases for other iPods have allowed me to use open iPod docks with the cases on, which is a huge timesaver. This design could have used just a little more tinkering. Even thick silicon cases can be made to work easily with top down (open) iPod docks. The case does have some design pluses. The thick corners are nice, and the design does include a good "home button" area and a hole for the light sensor. The hole on the cord management area is designed to accept a clip for a lanyard so you can carry the case around your neck. This hole is not meant for your headphone cord. :-) The comparison that has to be made is with the Speck Toughskin, which doesn't include the wire management but does have thicker silicon and a less slippery grip. It has much thicker edging too and provides slightly better protection if that is your primary concern. If you can do without wire management, you probably want to check out the Speck. Speck ToughSkin Rubberized Case for iPod touch (Black) DLO's case does beat Specks on cost though at about half the price. If you need a case till you test drive what else is out there, this is a great value and should definitely be on your list. Happy shopping!!!
Great protection without unncessary bulk November 12, 2007 M. Chu (San Diego, CA) 28 out of 30 found this review helpful
I just picked this up last night. The case itself consists of rubber, or some rubber like material. As you can see from the photos, the corners are doubly protected with added padding. From a design point, this makes perfect sense. Heaven forbid, if you were to ever drop your iTouch, it would most likely land on a corner, so with the added padding, it just might survive such a fall in tact. The sides of the case are texturized with small, raised bumps, allowing you to comfortably grip your iTouch. I love the ear bud management on the back. Some may not like using ear buds, but for those that do, this is a perfect solution to carrying your ear buds with your iTouch. No longer do you have to tote them around separetly. They're all together in one neat package. Great idea! Oh, and one last thing...it comes with a plastic film to protect your screen!
Great Case For Ipod Touch: A Few Flaws. December 30, 2007 A. Stagg (Virgnia, USA) 23 out of 37 found this review helpful
This is a great case for my IPOD Touch and I'm enjoying it quite immensely. First, it looks great! Second, it provides ample amounts of protection and even comes with a very nice screen protector, which is absolutely essential for your Touch. I'll use it and enjoy it. What are the downsides? First, the form factor may not allow you to slide it into your car mount or holder. The case has a device mounted on the back for you to wind your earbuds around so they don't become tangled. Works great, but may get in the way if you want to use a car mount. Also, the device works great to wind your earbud cable and has cutouts to store the earbuds themselves. Unfortunately, the cutouts are the size of the Apple provided earbuds and do not work with my Sennheisers. Nevertheless, it nice to have something to neatly wind the cable around, so it's not a showstopper for me!
Excellent protection, storage and styling. Great price too! December 12, 2007 Ephraim Schum 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I don't normally go out of my way to write a review. After all, it takes away from my valuable time shopping for myself on Amazon. I did feel the need to give this one a great review. When I was hunting for a case/protection for my new iPod Touch, it was difficult to find anything that first, was available and second, wasn't made of ultra-hard plastic. I wanted a "skin" that would prevent my iPod from sliding and would be easy to remove if needed. The DLO Jam Jacket was just the thing. Here's why: 1) The skin slips on very easily and fits snug. 2) Offers storage for the Apple stock headphones unlike any other case -- a perfect fit with no winding your headphones around your screen. 3) Comes with a self-adhering plastic screen protector but you MUST be patient when applying this. Go slowly and use the card that comes with it to remove air bubbles if they occur. 4) The rubber isn't cheap like others. It is a nice sturdy rubber that will last. You can even remove it if you need to wash it with mild soap and water. 5) Perfect for setting your iPod Touch on your dash or a slick surface as it won't slide away. Same with the inside of your jacket pockets. 6) I know it wasn't designed for this, but it actually can kind of stand up on a slight tilt when watching videos because the rubber cord manager on the back protrudes a bit so when you set it on a flat surface it naturally tilts up. --- One bad thing but not a deal killer: The only change I would make, if the manufacturer is reading this, is that it doesn't quite fit the stand-up Apple dock connector, but if you don't mind just plugging it in using the standard USB or Firewire connector then you're fine. I am very anal with this stuff. ---
