I've been using Norelcos for years and they always gave a great shave UNTIL this model. The speed of the shaver is audibly slower than all previous models. This makes for a far more uncomfortable shave, pulling in places. I still have my previous model (8825) which gives a FAR more superior shave to this 9160XL. My blanket trust of Norelco is no longer there and I am suspicious of new models based on my great disappointment with this one. When I called Norelco to complain, the woman on the other end didn't seem too concerned and said I was stuck with it. It was a Christmas gift that I didn't start using until after the 30 day period had passed. 2 stars is the most I can give and even that's a stretch.
