Product Description From the ergonomic belt clip to the highly polished crystal clear shell, the iSee Case for iPod Nano encases the iPod in crystal clear plastic while remaining completely unobtrusive. It shields the iPod while providing easy access to all connections and controls. You and your iPod are always on the go, and your iPod will stay secure and protected in its iSee case. Contoured to accent the iPod's curves and colors, the iSee Nano V3 provides all around protection in a crystal clear, highly polished jewel case. With two backs, it is the most versatile clear case around. A simple, smooth back makes for a super low profile design and a belt clip compatible back along with a clip attachment. The Slimline belt clip can be mounted in four positions or replaced with a plug to close the attachment point and a hinged dock port protector open partially for access to only the headphone jack or fully for additional access to the dock port and hold switch. Complete protection continues with the Playthrough click-wheel protector on the iSee Nano V3. The iSee Nano V3 keeps your iPod Nano looking great and protected, so you don't have to worry about anything other than what's playing next.

Disappointing May 18, 2008 Allen Moore (Redmond, WA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had purchased this item from an Apple store, on the recommendation of one of the clerks there. It comes in the over-packaging that seems typical of Apple-related products. Once you liberate everything, there are five pieces: a hard, clear plastic front face, two hard, clear plastic rear faces (one for use with the belt clip, the other without), a circular rubbery protector for the click wheel, a belt clip, and a hard plastic disk that (apparently) can be used to plug the holes in the rear face plate that is meant for use with the belt clip. You have two choices: assemble with the smooth back (no belt clip) or use the back with the holes for the clip. Actually, even if you don't plan using the belt clip, you might as well assemble it that way, as it's very difficult to get the two halves apart once you snap them together. Also, the flexible dock port protector is only attached to the belt clip face. The assembly instructions are mostly about how to insert the click wheel protector, and they get that part wrong (insert the protector with the larger ridge facing outward, not inward). Assembly is actually straightforward once you sort out where all the pieces go: 1) insert the click wheel protector from the inside (ridge facing out), 2) snap on the back (with the belt clip holes), and 3) either attach the belt clip or the disk that fills the belt clip holes if you're not using the clip. At this point your iPod is well protected. However in use there are several drawbacks. The dock port protector gets in the way when you plug in the docking connector and pushes up on the connector. Connectors don't like sideways forces and over time this could lead to a failure of the connector. Another problem is they didn't leave enough clearance around the headphone jack. Normal-sized earbud cables seem to be OK, but I had also bought a Griffin SmartShare headphone splitter cable to use with my iPod. But there's not enough clearance around the jack to plug in the splitter cable, which has a larger-sized plug housing. This product's going back.
Great product. Contour provides excellent customer service. January 20, 2008 pjsunshine (Portland, OR) This case is nice looking and sturdy. When I first received this case, I had some issues with the positioning of the clip. I contacted Contour to provide feedback and comment. They immediately responded and sent me a new redesigned clip which is excellent. Best service I've received from a company in a long time. Thanks Contour! I highly recommend this product.
Finally, a rigid case that clips to your belt April 5, 2008 E. McClung (Fort Sill, OK) When I first purchased the Ipod Nano 3G, I was disappointed that it did not come with a way to clip it to your belt. I was disappointed that all I could seem to find were soft skinned cases that required an inordinate amount of effort to add and remove the nano 3G from the case. This was significant because I like to use my nano 3G in the gym, running, and at the house and work in speaker docking stations. Boy have I been satisfied with the Contour iSee case. It comes with a belt clip option that works perfectly for the gym and jogging. The case is very sleek, barely adding to the overall size of the nano 3G while being very sturdy, protecting the nano 3G from bumps, bangs, and drops. Last but not least, the case takes only a second to open and remove my nano 3G for use in my speaker docking stations. I can't believe I can only find this case on Amazon and other online retailers and not in every Wal-Mart and Best Buy in the country. Great product!
Nice Case May 12, 2008 babsdoy The case does what it is supposed to do. It does not add much weight or thickness to the ipod nano. It is easy to put on and take off. I like that you can take the belt clip off or leave it on. I felt like the cover over the click wheel was not going to stay, but so far so good.
iSee 3G Nano case May 23, 2008 C. (Michigan) Excellent, slim profile case. Read other reviews about how to open it as it is not self evident at first. My third party earphones click in fully--something other cases didn't allow. Like that the back clip can be detached. Protection over click wheel works well. Protection over the charger access port stays attached so you don't lose it. It can be a little hard to reach the hold button, but easy if you have long fingernails. But this seems in part to be an issue with the 3G Nano's smaller button. But I have managed with short fingernails--so it takes me an extra second to search it out. Worth it for the rest of the features this case provides.
