120 volts and ARC fault interrupter. Provides ARC fault, overload and short circuit protection. Required for receptacles in bedrooms effective January 1, 2002. UL listed and meets 1999 NEC Section 210-12. Protects against worn electrical insulation or damaged wire, misapplied or damaged plug in appliances and equipment, and loose electrical connections.
