What choice do you have? April 25, 2006 M. L. Geiger (Chicago, IL USA) 21 out of 21 found this review helpful
I bought the white case, because it was all the store had in stock. I might buy another color later on. The case is well made, and the plastic clip is sturdy and I hope it proves to be reliable. Far better than the cheap little plastic thing that came with the player. I definately recommend paying for the better case. Here's hoping SanDisk makes more colors!
not tough enough for active kids January 11, 2007 Single Mom (Allentown, PA USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought both of my kids (ages 11 and 10) an MP3 player for Christmas and needed a way for them to be able to tell which player belonged to whom. So I picked up the pink case for my daughter and the blue one for my son. The case has a clip on the back (which I don't think I realized was there when I looked at it online). It was great for hooking the player onto the top of their pants or over their belts. The only problem was, it was a little awkward to get the clip back off. You needed to have some coordination, some strength in your fingers and a little patience.... So with the way my kids would tug and yank at the player to take it off, I didn't think the case was going to last. It didn't, but I can't fault the case. Apparently, my kids were playing rough and collided in such a way that put such downward force on the case, there's no way the clip wouldn't have ripped off the back of the case. Oh, well. The MP3 player came with an armband holder so I'm going to get that out and hope the player will fit in it with the pink case over it. Otherwise, we'll just have to tell them apart by one being in a case and the other not. The case is probably fine for older teens and adults.
Appearance only - minimal benefits February 7, 2007 Michael S. Kline (Canton, MI, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The only drawback to this case is there is no screen protection. It is nice that it has a clip, and it fits the mp3 player snugly, but... Would be nice if it has a clear "window" to protect the screen.
Not so great. Should be called "clip" instead of "case". March 30, 2007 Schuylercat (Charlotte, NC) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Bought it for my wife - the pink just didn't match anything in my wardrobe... She uses her player for the gym, and treats it somewhat rough. This "case" doesn't protect the screen from scratches (see most other reviews), but it hasn't fallen off while she's worn it, either. About 1/2 useful, really. On the other hand....it was cheap, right? Right?
Great! May 7, 2007 Kevin M. Skiba (Alpena, MI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The case is soft rubber so it goes on easy and stays on tight. The MP3 player will not fall out and it stays very protected. Added bonus is that the color helps add some spice to the MP3 player. You don't have to settle for blaa white anymore!
