The original 6 cell battery that came with my laptop, was very weak! It would only last about 1 hour or so. The 12 cell battery lasts about 2 hours! Which is awesome. I love it. However; It is very heavy and big and expensive at about $150.00. If you don't mind carrying it around, then you'd be ok. It also raises the back of the laptop. So you won't need to use a cooling pad with it, unless you're using it on your lap, which you still should use a cooling pad.

The old battery came with the computer only lasts one hour and thirty minutes or so, lately it only lasts 8-10 minutes. I bought this 12 cell battery, boy, when it is fully charged, it can last 4 hours and 20 minutes! Very happy with this purchase.

This is the battery that should have come with your HP laptop. It is bulkier, and heavier than the 6 cell battery, but if you need a battery that lasts over 2-3 hours, and the 12 cell will get the job done.

Worst on-line company I have used or dealt with, ever. DO NOT BUY FROM ANTONLINE. I will never use this company again and I have already recommended to all my friends family and place of business to never purchase from this company. I have been stuck with a battery I cannot use. I am going to spend more money for the same battery elsewhere (not Amazon)because ANTOLINE has done absolutely nothing to make this right.

I use my laptop primarily for writing. These batteries give me about three hours each. They are a bit pricey, but worth it in the long run. Now I don't have to interrupt my writing sessions to find a place to plug in.
