Amazon.com Product Description Complete your Delphi SKYFi2 XM Satellite Radio receiver listening system with this tailor-made vehicle adapter kit. The base SKYFi2 receiver package (model SA10101) contains a receiver and a remote control. To install your SKYFi in a car, you need this, the SKYFi2 vehicle adaptor kit (model SA10102), which contains a vehicle cradle, a cassette adapter, an antenna, and a 12-volt power adapter. The vehicle cradle holds your SKYFi receiver and provides connections for audio, power, and antenna cables. You should mount the antenna on the roof of your car or truck. The 12V power adapter plugs into your cigarette lighter and powers your SKYFi2 through the vehicle cradle. The cassette adapter, meanwhile, lets you listen to XM right through your car stereo's cassette deck. The SKYFi2 receiver has a built-in wireless modulator so you can tune in XM programming on your FM radio, with slightly lower sound quality than you'd get using the cassette-shell adapter. What's in the Box Vehicle cradle, a small magnet-mounted vehicle antenna, a cassette adapter, a power adapter, and an installation guide.

XM for Motorcycle January 30, 2006 Peter Rathfelder (Arizona) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Delphi SA10102 SkiFi Vehicle Adapter kit works well for motorcycle installation also. I installed this on a Suzuki Bergman 400. The SkiFi fits in the glove box well. It adapts to a Bluetooth transmitter also well. This transmits to a bluetooth wireless receiver in my helmit. I now enjoy XM on the motorcycle on the way to work.
SKYFI in the SKYFi2 Adapter February 23, 2006 James Manley 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this to use the older style SKYFi (with the orange screen) in my car. The antenna was easy to install. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the mounting hardware. I live in Phoenix and the two sided tape they give you won't hold up in the summer heat here. They also give you a clip to hang it on one of your air vents. This is what I used but the clips don't go in quite far enough to latch completely. Still it manages to hold enough that it works.
It Works November 9, 2006 Wally Van Riper (Directly above the center of the Earth.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It works. It doesn't do anything more than it was made to do. Can't say much else about it. Delphi makes good radios but the accessories are cheaply made and they don't last long. I should have bought two of these. I'll be needing another one eventually. UPDATE (Nov. 18, 2007): The antenna connection has come loose and the unit will need replacing. Well, at least I got a year out of it.
Don't use the cassette player March 17, 2007 Kyle M. Lomax (Indianapolis, IN USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've got two of these installed. I ran the first one through the cassette-tape adapter in my truck. I was dissatified with the sound quality, and a little ticked I'd paid for it. I ran the second one in my wife car and it doesn't have a cassette deck, so we direct-tuned an FM station to my SkyFi2. That sounds MUCH better (despite what the manual suggests). It's easy anyway, less wiring to hide. These car kits are a little hard to install correctly. You have to be VERY careful with the antenna wire. If you twist it or pinch it too much it won't work. When installed correctly, the kit works great.
Delphi SA10102 SKYFi2 Vehicle Adapter Kit March 18, 2006 Lisa Benoist 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been using this for a few months, and am very happy with it. The kit is easy to use, easy to route, and gives me everything I'm looking for to allow me to use my SkyFi in my car. No complaints at all! The bonus is that I can use the tape adapter, that came with it, to play my .mp3s from my iPaq!
