The best "green" detergent out there! May 3, 2008 Melissa (Hopkinton, MA United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Our household laundry needs include cloth diapers, two sons with eczema-prone skin and a husband who commutes to the train station on a bike every day (i.e. stinky, sweaty clothes) and this detergent takes care of them all---bright whites, soft and clean clothes every time AND no smells or scents whatsoever! This is such an awesome product and one that is environmentally responsible at that!
I am so HAPPY! May 24, 2008 L. Blum (IA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am so happy that Amazon is selling this. I love this soap. It not only cleans construction dirt out of my husbands work clothes, but also keeps my kids with eczema clear of breakouts. I also like the color safe bleach from Country Save( I will never use regular bleach again). They are a good products and I will never use anything else. I use it faithfully and am so glad I will easily be able to get it through amazon.
Fabulous product but NO stars to Amazon for packaging!!! June 2, 2008 Philosophy Nut (St. Charles, MO USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this laundry detergent! I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and had terrible trouble with Tide and Cheer HE detergents. I have NO problems with this product. I also am really liking the lack of fragrance. It simply smells clean. My clothes are just as clean as they were using Tide, Gain, Cheer or 7th Generation. I have a HE front-end loader. If I am going to do a load with cold water, I dissolve my detergent in a couple cups of warm water, dump it in the washer, put in the dirty clothes and then start the washer. The box suggests you always put your detergent and some water in your washer prior to adding clothes, but this is a little difficult with a HE front-end loader, so I use my above method with great success. My only complaint is with Amazon because one of the boxes they shipped me was damaged and they would have seen this when they packed the box. When I opened the box upon arrival, there was detergent powder all over! As opposed to dealing with a return, I opted to clean the three boxes that were okay and put the remaining contents of the 4th box into a large plastic tub for storage. I will DEFINITELY purchase this again for the price vs. # of loads and the performance.
I'm Impressed June 4, 2008 Y.G. (Indiana) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I stumbled upon Country Save Laundry Detergent when I began cloth diapering in an attempt to be more environmentally friendly. I should mention that I have two kids and a husband who is a maintenance technician at a factory so we have tons of dirty, sometimes really dirty laundry. I like that it has no scent so it doesn't irritate anyone's sensitive skin and it smells more fresh to me that way. It suds well and cleans better than most conventional, chemical laden soaps I've used before. I am impressed that clothing, when hung on a line to dry, does not come out stiff. I think that was one of my bigger selling points, that and it has no fragrance or extras that causes liquids to repel. This is huge for cloth diapers. I bought one 10 pound box, and use it in my top loader. We're on the same box about two months later so I'd say it's a good buy. I'm hooked.
Wallet and Environmentally Friendly! June 18, 2008 Erin L. Hamilton (Maryland, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I LOVE this detergent! It works GREAT for cloth diapers and children with sensitive skin. It cleans super well, and leaves no residue. I have a front load washer, and it works perfectly with it - as well as saving me lots of money. I am so glad I purchased this product, and I will continue to do so in the future.
