 Great Product, Great Price (but, PLEASE, change the shipping!) January 9, 2008

I've used this product for several years now, and even in the hot Arizona summers, it's up to the task. No itching, no irritation, great scent.
One note, however, is that when I purchased the 6-pack of this item, each stick was enclosed in a separate 1-gallon zip-lock style bag! Yes, that's right, I received 6 1-gallon bags. I had ordered the 6-pack in hopes of reducing packaging waste, but find that I did quite the opposite. Would it be too difficult to possibly use just one bag (or even none) next time?

Most deodorant manufacturers assume that women want to smell like baby powder or flowers. While I don't mind flowers, I prefer earthier and/or spicier scents, such as cinnamon, amber, or patchouli. Tom's Woodspice scent fills the bill, without being too strong. And, not only does it smell great, it works, even in Texas summers. I'm glad to have found it here because it's hard to find in the local markets.

My husband had surgery under both of his arms. When he went back to work we could not find a deoderant that he could use comfortably. Finally, we tried this one and it works great with no irritation or soreness. We are so thrilled with this product. It is standing up to our Mississippi summer.

A little strong scented for my taste, I liked the odorless much more. Also for those of you who haven't use a natural deodorant: It feels wet for a while, but it does work once it dries. Here are a few facts about deodorants:
You pits have more pores, hence the sweating. Where you have pore, you also absorb into your body. Most deodorant products have aluminum or other harmful ingredients. Tom's has aloe and E which are good for you.

My husband and I started using Tom's natural deodorant for at least 10 years. We try pretty much all of them, and loved all of them. Five years ago we move to the Dominican Republic and brought with us a good stack, but recently we just run out. In amazon we shopped for some more, and looking around chose the wood spice with hops. WE LOVE IT. Under this intense Caribbean sun, we are completely dry, and the nice wood smell stays for a very long time. It is just great, we do need to re-apply, but the dryness is the big plus being that is very humid in the Caribbean. We even got a pre-teen son started.
Our family truly believes that this is Tom's of Maine best deodorant yet.
