Amazon.com Product Description Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers offer soft, cloth-like comfort and feature stretchy leg gathers and closure tabs. In addition to keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, the absorbent polymer in these diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin. Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper. Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter? Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come. When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment. If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment. About Seventh Generation Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, and phosphate-free ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

Great company, but stage 6 dipes are no good! June 24, 2008 JohnnyC (Brussels, Belgium (APO)) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
Unfortunately, I have to give these only two stars. It would be one, but the fact that Seventh Generation is a great company overall earns them one bonus star. I wrote a glowing review for the Stage 1 diapers (check it out and vote it helpful if you like it!). I also found stages 2-4 to be quite good. But around Stage 5, leakage started becoming a big problem. The bigger the baby got, and the more he started to pee, the more these dipes started leaking! :-( We're potty training our 28-month old now, so he generally doesn't wear diapers during the day, but he does at night. He cannot wear these overnight, or he will wake up soaked and uncomfortable in the morning. In contrast, he is always dry and comfortable with equivalent Pampers diapers. So that's why the two stars; there are brands out there that keep the baby dry all night, and 7th Generation stage 6 simply doesn't. I think if your child is still wearing diapers all day, and you change them frequently, these could be a good buy. But I would strongly recommend against trying to use these overnight. Do buy other 7th Generation products though! The paper towels, tissues, dish soap, laundry soap, and napkins are all great!
Best Diapers for Sensitive Bums! May 1, 2008 OC Jennifer (Ladera Ranch, CA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
My 21 month old has very sensitive skin, and "conventional" disposable diapers caused him to get frequent diaper rash. Since the cloth diaper route wasn't really an option for us, I tried a few chlorine-free alternatives before settling on this brand. Seventh Generation Diapers are cut well to minimize chafing, they are a nice neutral color as opposed to covered in characters and bright colors, and they absorb fluid well. Only time I've ever had a problem is when my son drinks tons of liquids in the afternoon and evening, for if I don't change his diaper right away when he wakes up in the morning he will start to leak. But in his defense he does sleep for 11 hours straight, so I would expect leaks at that point. Under normal circumstances these diapers perform just as well as Pampers Cruisers and Huggies, yet they are environmentally more friendly and much kinder to sensitive bums which makes them leaps and bounds better in my book.
Great diapers for babies w/sensitive skin July 2, 2008 Annie (Long Beach, CA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
We have been using Seventh Generation Diapers (started w/ size 4, and now in size 5) since my daughter was 16 mos old (she's now 27 mos old), and these have been the best diapers for her sensitive, and diaper rash prone skin. I love the feel of these diapers and they hold a lot. We switched from Pampers Cruisers to these diapers and have never looked back. I am not happy about the new reformulated diapers, and that they made the package have 8 less diapers, and the gel material seems to be a little more slippery than it was before. Since we hopefully have less than six mos. left of diapers I don't plan on going diaper hunting again, but messing with something that isn't necessarily broken really irritates me.
Not quite new and improved. June 17, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I loved seventh generation diapers. They fit great and did not give my daughter a rash (she has incredibly sensitive skin). I also like the fact that they are a little more eco friendly. I used them almost exclusively until they "improved" them. The new thicker tabs don't stay on very well and the size 3's seem to barely fit - she's only 18 lbs at 13 months and still wears a size 2-3 pampers swaddler so there is no reason a size 3 shouldn't fit just fine. I am incredibly frustrated with how their tabs pop off all the time and I'm very disappointed with their new design.
the best diapers July 2, 2008 Margaret (PA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
not much of a price difference between these 7th generation diapers and pampers or huggies, but much of a quality difference. we've had very little diaper rash - only very early on - and there was no gel reside like there was with the pampers we tried. excellent product.
