VERY delicious and crunchy but tiny amount in each pack! July 26, 2007 NYC (New York City) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I love these. The crunch is irresistable. However, there are so few in each pack (not entirely unexpected for 35 cals a bag) that I am left wanting MORE MORE MORE by the end of the bag. As a dieter I look for snacks which taste great (check), are healthy (check) but leave me a little fuller than before I started the snack (not check). I suggest they make 70 calorie bags with twice the apples inside. Now that would be a *great* filling, healthy and delicious snack. They are truly delicious though and the packaging is very attractive (even though there was a chemical smell when I opened the outer bag of the 6-pack ....). I also wish they were a product of the USA but what can you do!?
Fantastic Snack December 21, 2007 Valentina (Fair Lawn, NJ United States) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Had to take a chance and very glad I did. This is a fantastic snack. I love dried apples, and Crispy Green must use a sweet variety, b/c the taste is sweet and not bitter at all. When you take them out of the bag apple slices are dry, but once you start to chew on them, they mix with saliva and become moist and delicious. I wish more chips were in a bag, but actually once you start putting them in your mouth, they double in size. Overall, excellent. I also tried pineapple, which I did not like (personal preference, even though I love eating fresh pineapple).
Good but Expensive August 16, 2007 Kevin Williams (Huntsville, AL) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
These are quite tasty, but the amount you receive for the price really isn't a good value.
Good, but made in China October 5, 2007 John Grace (Grand Haven, MI) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Amazon suggested I buy this product, and I did. In terms of a fruit snack this is very nice in that it isn't overly sweet and has good fruit flavor. The one downside to this product is that it is made in China, which I didn't know when I ordered it. Given all of the product issues I personlly wouldn't buy food products produced there, but that is a personal choice.
And now for something completely different May 5, 2007 Louis Castaing (Baton Rouge, LA USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought these with trepidation but was pleasantly surprised. They're crunchy and slightly sweet. And all natural. Freeze-dried and therefore no preservatives. And low-cal. But the most amazing part is how good they taste. I put them on yogurt or eat them right out the bag. Crispy Green also has freeze-dried apples, peaches, and pineapples which are also great.
