Get lost, Aunt Jemima! Take a hike, Mrs. Butterworth! July 23, 2006 Jeddy 3 35 out of 36 found this review helpful
When high-quality real maple syrup is available for such a good price, I can't see anyone loading up on that high-fructose-corn-syrup kid stuff. The flavor of this syrup is so bright and intense, you'll use a lot less and be twice as satisfied. The Medium Amber is the straight-ahead classic style, not too light and not too molasses-y. It's also great for cooking. (I use it to make my own granola.) Real maple syrup doesn't need to be glugged on, so this bottle will last a good long while. I only wish they sold it in little bottles small enough to smuggle into pancake houses, because once you've tried the real thing, you'll never be satisfied with the cheap stuff again.
Once you've tried real maple syrup you will never go back to imitation syrups. June 8, 2006 A Texas reviewer 32 out of 35 found this review helpful
If you are wondering if real maple syrup is worth the extra cost, I can say YES!! After I tried the real thing I was forced to use imitation at a pancake house and I noticed something about the imitation that I hadn't before... imitation syrup has a thick slimey texture that is very noticeable after you have gotten used to natural maple syrup. The taste of natural is a lot better than the imitations. I have tried many different brands and I have never noticed much difference between them (it is a natural product after all) as long as they were all the same grade. It is definitely worth the price.
great tasting organic product July 4, 2006 K. J. Scheffler (Seattle, WA) 13 out of 21 found this review helpful
I know Arnold Coombs personally and he makes one of the finest syrups in the entire world. Arnold is one of those people you would like to have over to your house for dinner especially if you're having pancakes.
No Greater Way To Brighten Breakfast! August 23, 2006 Kevin K. Douglas (glens falls, ny) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This light and bright addition to any plate of good hotcakes is the best way to splurge and treat oneself! No comparison, by far for quality or value vs. price!
Best Maple Syrup August 26, 2006 D. mittelstedt 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Coomb's Maple Syurp is smooth when you pour it. The taste is soft and delicious, not thick nor thin just right for pouring. Great over pancakes, waffles, toast and over ice cream.
