The "tide" is turning to Tide To Go !!! July 25, 2007 Matthew G. Sherwin 13 out of 15 found this review helpful
Tide To Go has saved me on more than one occasion when I was eating somewhat carelessly before a job interview or an important social gathering. Tide To Go correctly advertises itself as "an on-the-go stain remover," not a pretreater. Once it saves you from an embarrassing or ugly stain on your garments you'll never travel far without one of these again! Tide To Go works best on common stains like coffee, tea, wine and juice--ketchup, too. Moreover, it's easy to use: Take it with you when you're on the go; it fits much like a pen inside a pocket in a jacket or pants. Removes the excess liquid from the stain and rub the tip of the Tide To Go "pen" across the stain to remove it. There are a few more detailed instructions; read them all before using this product. If you have further questions, Tide To Go offers consumers both a toll free "hotline" as well as a website. Great! Overall, once you try Tide To Go and it saves the day, you'll simply never go far without this again. It keeps well when the cap is on the "pen;" and it fits very conveniently in most pockets so it stays out of sight. Excellent!!!
Ladies - keep it handy...it really works! March 24, 2006 LJA (San Diego) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This product saved me from having to leave work with an embarassing excuse. During some specific times of the month, certain unexpected things can happen if you know what I mean. ANYWAY - although the manufacturer claims it doesn't remove those kinds of stains that well; it worked VERY well. Keep one in your desks ladies...it really works. Oh - and I've used it on coffee stains, spaghetti sauce, soda...the usual "oops" kind of stuff. Works great!
Does what I want it to do! August 26, 2006 Reginald D. Garrard (Camilla, GA USA) 12 out of 16 found this review helpful
My scenario: I'm traveling down the road, eating a sandwich, and, suddenly, I drop a bit of mustard on my favorite "knock about" shirt. After uttering an expletive or two, I recall the television ad that I had seen about Tide's "pen." I immediately pulled into the local Wal****, zoomed to the cleaning supplies section, and found the product in question. Did it work as it had on the commercial??? I'm wearing the spotless shirt as I type this recommendation! And to liberally borrow from another company, "I don't leave home without it!"
Mostly works well March 29, 2006 J. Conn (Pittsburgh, PA United States) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I really, really wanted this to work great, since I am both a klutz who spills stuff on herself and a mom. So far I've used it on: 1. Tomato sauce - works perfectly if you catch it right away, so-so after the stain has started to set (5-10 minutes) 2. Chocolate icing - lightened the stain, but was still clearly there. 3. Baby spit-up - totally gone, but that's an easy one. 4. Soda - worked perfectly 5. Red food coloring - smaller dots totally gone, larger dot got smeared and became a nice big light pink spot, instead of a dark red medium spot :) but food coloring's always bad I'm pretty happy with this, it works very well as long as you get to the stain immediately (meaning you notice it when you spill it!) and I will keep one in my purse and one in the diaper bag.
I FOUND OUT WITHIN A FEW HOURS THAT I REALLY NEEDED THIS LITTLE GIMMICK September 1, 2006 Heather L. Parisi (Pekin, IN USA) 9 out of 13 found this review helpful
IN A NUTSHELL: IT WORKS - NO WASHING - NO WETTING THE STAINED AREA It use to be that if you were out having lunch or on a coffee break at work if a little of what was intended for your mouth got on your shirt, THERE WAS A PROBLEM - MAYBE EVEN A CRISIS! That has changed. Before I even opened the package that 'Tide To Go Instant Stain Remover' came in, I had tomato sauce all over my clean white shirt. Please don't ask how! Ordinarily, I would have raced to the nearest restroom and soaked my blouse with soapy water as a sort of improvised soaking/pre-wash. The trouble is this is both stressful and embarrassing for obvious reasons. This time, when the sauce hit the white blouse I pulled out the 'Tide To Go' [still sealed in its package] and voila -- NO STAIN! TAKING CONTROL OF THE SITUATION LOOKS AND FEELS GOOD: LIKE WHITE-OUT FOR PEOPLE Instead of feeling sorry for me or just nodding in disgust, people asked me how I did it? "WOW" - was the most common remark and I felt good about the incident rather than dejected and embarrassed as I had in the past. WHAT 'Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover' IS GOOD FOR REMOVING: -*- WORKS WELL ON: TEA, WINE, GRAPE JUICE, KETCHUP, BBQ SAUCE, CHOCOLATE SYRUP & COFFEE -*- WHAT 'Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover' DOES NOT WORK WELL ON: BLOOD, INK & GREASE BOTTOM LINE: KEEP IT HANDY & USE IT QUICKLY Carry 'Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover' with you as you would a pen or pencil and pull it out and put it into action, [by simply rubbing the stain] at the first chance you have after a potential staining accident occurs. [I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY PRODUCT OR COMPANY]
