They last forever in seed form (as opposed to pre-ground). This is, however, a GREAT deal! I would probably pay 10 times more for this much cumin at the grocery store. I emptied the 6-pack into a tupperware container for storage, and I grind a spice jar's worth of seeds at a time to use in cooking. If you use a lot of cumin, this quantity for such a low price is a steal!
