Lousy marinade. July 24, 2006 Ghenghis (Monvolia) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Pretty good and inexpensive steak sauce. Effective marinades have to have a significant acid content, typically vinegar in order to tenderize/break down the meat. This mix doesnt qualify, and you can leave your steak floating in this stuff for 3 days and it will taste the same off the grill as if you had let it soak for 3 minutes. 2 Forks
Ohmagawd, NO NO NO! July 25, 2006 Ghenghis (Monvolia) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
You know, I love A.1 Steak Sauce, and this marinade aint any different than a steak sauce in its consistency, but its NOT a marinade! Real marinades have a high acid content to penetrate the meat, this is a SAUCE. Might taste OK on the finished product, but you cannot marinate pork or chicken with this stuff. Well maybe if you let it soak for a month or two. There arent a lot of good jerk marinades on the market, you're better off making your own.

This marinade offers the most flavorful taste in meats. It will amaze you when you try this product and cook the meats on the grill. You are guaranteed to love it.
Less than 30 Days from Expiration Date March 9, 2008 Elbow (Salem, MA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a good marinade in my experience (acid content notwithstanding) but the batch I just received from Amazon has a *Best By* date of 4/5/2008, less than a month after I got them.
