Read this before you order! July 27, 2006 H. Liu (United States) 14 out of 22 found this review helpful
The title says $27.15 for pack of 2, 8-count packages, you would think there are 16 total. Wrong, it's only 8 batteries for $27.15. So you what you get are $3.4 per piece batteries. .....Sorry but these are the most expensive batteries I ever bought. I would rather buy some Energizer batteries from local Sam's club or Walmart. But curiously some people claimed that they got 16 total by $27.15. Customer service insists that you only get 8 instead. Now I am confused!
A Great Deal if you get 16 Batteries Like I Did August 8, 2006 IAMSLICK 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is NOT a good deal if you only get 8 batteries. I received 16 Duracell 2500 mAh batteries, which is an excellent deal. I ordered on July 25. So far the batteries charge very well in my Sony 4-hour battery charger, and they hold a charge much longer than a regular non-rechargeable AA battery. It baffles me that some people are getting only 8 batteries when the title clearly says "8-Count Packages (Pack of 2)".
Great batteries September 1, 2006 Manish Laxmikant 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
I had bought my first set from a local store, so I know that these work really well and I've been using the first set extensively for months. For the $27.15 price I got 16 batteries in all, two 8-packs. A very good price when calculated per battery. I paid twice that the last time. These are 2650mAH, not the highest around but still way up there and better than the Sony ones I got. The 30 min charger works well (I bought that separately and it also had four AA's but less capacity)
Wouldn't buy again June 23, 2007 Lantana Al (Lantana, TX USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
At first I thought these were great... made in Japan, 2650 capacity. After actually using them, I had to conclude that there is something very wrong with these. Some of the batteries don't seem to charge or hold charges properly. After putting them in a Canon flash unit, after a few days of very light use, the flash stopped working because it wasn't getting enough power. I had this happen at least twice with these but not with other brands. I would not buy these again.
Superb Batteries holds up well with baby toys! October 7, 2006 S. brown (ATL, GA USA) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I received 16 batteries. These work great! NI-MH are the next generation battery and they go the extra distance. Extremely good in electronics like cameras, and baby toys. They still work excellent in flash lights and motorized toys. I read alot of reviews that say these work optimally in electronics only. That is so not true. Duracell makes an excellent product here. Amazon delivers is quickly. I stocked up on these before my baby came for all the toys and small appliances. They hold a long charge, recharge quickly, and seem to get stronger after a few cycles. Don't let your first use be your only judgement on these batteries. It is well known NIMH batteries need to be charged and used up a couple of times before they reach their peak capacity. The advertised rating is in line with my personal test apparatus. This is good thing. Duracell is not overrating their batteries like some no-name brands do.
