First of all, I have quit smoking with the help of these, and am very thankful for them. However, they did not stick very well for long (maybe 8-10 hours)...I found myself having to constantly re-apply them and had to buy some medical tape to help keep them on (and even lost a couple of them). My skin isn't abnormally oily (or hairy), and one time I forgot to put one on and got a name brand one from a coworker. The name brand one stayed on so well I even had to put a little effort into taking it off!

Bottom line: If you are on a budget (and who's not) these will work fine, but keep in mind that you will probably need some tape. If you have the money, I would definitely suggest you treat yourself to the name brand ones to save yourself some aggravation.
