Buy to make croutons or bread crumbs.... May 31, 2007 Deborah L. Sorensen (Southwest) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Being recently diagnoised with celiac and being a bread lover, I am constantly trying out the gluten free breads. This loaf bread was a major disappointment. Its very heavy and not suitable for sandwiches. It was just okay for toast. I ended up making croutons and bread crumbs out of the remaining loafs. I'm still looking for a great loaf of gluten free bread...

Ener-G Foods Papa's Loaf August 11, 2007 Grandma Rita (Lebanon, Ky USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful product. My grandaughter is almost 9 years old and up until a couple of months ago had never eaten a piece of bread. She has severe food allergies and is very limited as to what she can eat. Although she won't eat this bread unless it is toasted, I consider it a wonderful addition to her diet. I will continue to order this product.
gluten free September 12, 2007 Valerie Ryan hard to eat - texture is just not like having a piece of toast - will try it for breadcrumbs
Good choice if one is dairy, gluten, wheat and egg allergic. November 23, 2007 J. Richards There are tastier bread options if one is not eating gluten alone, however if there are allergens such as egg and dairy this is a nice, convenient option to have. Since wheat and gluten is not all we have to avoid, I'm glad that Papa's loaf is a bread my son enjoys. The best ways to eat this bread are toasted and if one wants a softer bread, I put a spread (Mothers Margarine) on the bread and warm it up in the microwave.
