Great to have on the shelf for bread anytime. December 12, 2006 donalyn (Maryland) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Okay, not the best tasting bread, but it's convenient and shelf-stable. I keep a few loaves for backup and in case of emergencies. Must be toasted.
It makes yummy toast! February 25, 2007 D. Landmeyer (Waukesha, WI USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Ener-G tapioca bread makes wonderful toast. I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between it and regular white bread toasted. Ener-G company is very allergy aware. We deal with severe multiple food allergies at our home to milk, egg, peanut, and sesame and gluten intolerance. The bread is OK right out of the bag, but toasted it is really good.
GOOD CHOICE FOR GLUTEN INTOLERANT PEOPLE April 2, 2007 Claire Knowles (CAPE COD) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
THE BEST BREAD FOR SANDWICHES, ETC IF YOU ARE GLUTEN INTOLERANT. MY DAD SAYS IT IS THE SOFTEST AND BEST TASTING FOR EVERYDAY USE. THIS BREAD IS ABOUT $5 A LOAF IN THE STORE SO PURCHASING FROM AMAZON IS THE BEST DEAL FOR PURCHASING IT WHEN YOU EAT IT EVERY DAY FOR LUNCH AND OR BREAKFAST.

My son is allergic to wheat and eggs so we use a lot of Ener-G Foods. This bread is one of the best if you're looking for something that little ones will like to make PB&J or grilled cheese sandwiches out of.
Awful!! March 10, 2008 Gail D. Tracey 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This bread is way too dry and crumbly to make a sandwich. I ended up crumbling the entire loaf and freezing for bread crumbs. Worse than rice bread. Take my advice, bake your own -- it's much better.
