Sturdy and economical February 19, 2007 H. Goldstein (Florida, USA) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
Although the tray is plastic the rails are metal and it seems sturdy. The product provides a reasonably firm surface. The installation was easy with a power screwdriver drill bit - there are a lot of wood screws to install as one would expect and sturdiness demands they go in all the way. The mouse tray slides out from beneath the keyboard tray and has a nice fabric pad on it rather than the rubbery stuff that degrades quickly.
For the money, it does the job. April 13, 2008 Maxim St. Pierre (Pretoria, IL USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This keyboard drawer is definitely nothing special, but it does the job. The instructions are clear and you'll be able to install it quickly. It's adjustable also, so it can be used with keyboards that are a little larger than standard sized keyboards. You will need a drill and a screwdriver to install it. Make sure you're putting it exactly where you want it, because you're putting holes in your desk. The mousepad, as some reviewers have noted, is a little flimsy-feeling. It slides under the main keyboard drawer and it feels like you don't want to put a ton of weight on it (why you would, I don't know). There is also one of those big gel strips that goes under your wrists. Overall, a decent product. Nothing spectacular.
Keyboard Drawer December 2, 2007 Jan Montalvo (United States of America) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
The Keyboard Drawer is an excellent profuct. It is sturdy and very strong holding my weist which puts a lot of pressure on the drawer. This talbe can handle the pressure.
OK for keyboard, but mouse tray is pretty weak February 15, 2008 Jasko (Sunnyvale, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this drawer for occasional work at home, and that is pretty much intended use. It is not even close to professional equipment that is usually installed in corporate offices. But in case that you need it at home, it works as promised. The keyboard tray is pretty good, it is solid, has wrist pad and locks in place when not used and pushed under the desk. The mouse tray is pretty thin plastic and be gentle or it is going to break. Installation takes about 20 minutes and you need a drill and screwdriver. As it is inexpensive, I would rate is as "good". Thanks!
OK with reservations February 10, 2008 V. Sharpless 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fellowes(R) Office Suites Underdesk Keyboard Drawer, 2 1/2H x 30 7/8W x 14 1/16D For a plastic structure, this is an exceptionally well built unit. The keyboard drawer works very smoothly and holds in the full open position well. I can see where you would get in trouble if you don't use the provided mount drilling template as the mounting holes have to be in exactly the right position for this to work right. My reservation is the mouse platform. It is well designed as far as covering and spaciousness, but the roller guide(slide system)it uses makes the mouse pad a little flinsy. If the metal keyboard drawer slides had been incorporated in this application, it would have easily had normal office application. Due to the mouse pad, I recommend home use only. Not even that if you tend to sleep on your mouse pad!
