Product Description 32 OZ, Pyrex, Measuring Cup.
Amazon.com Review Follow recipes with precision with this 1-quart liquid measuring cup from the pros at Pyrex. Constructed in durable Pyrex glass, the cup displays both metric and imperial system measurements with increments in liters and cups. Bright red lines and text help chefs identify dark liquid levels with ease. A wide handle provides a comfortable grip. For recipes requiring hot milk or melted chocolate, the cup is both microwave- and oven- safe. In addition, this user-friendly measuring cup is also dishwasher-safe. Made in the USA, the cup weighs 3 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

I know, I know, it's just a measuring cup! July 1, 2005 Jerry Tietjens (Southeastern VA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I must be getting old, as today I dropped my Pyrex 1 Quart Measuring Cup from a cupboard about 10 feet up and guess what, it didn't break, and I was very excited! I've bought dozens of measuring cups over the years and have managed to melt, break, tarnish and mutilate each and every one of them. This one seems to be up to the challenge. I've used it to melt butter and left it in the microwave too long, washed it a dozen times in the dishwasher, used a whisk in it (I love the sheer size of this thing!). Not a scratch on it! I know, I know, it's just a measuring cup. But quality does matter, and this one is top notch!
No kitchen should be without this Pyrex 1-quart measuring cup September 5, 2006 Resips (San Diego, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Pyrex measuring cups are among the essentials for any kitchen. This size holds one quart but also is useful for mixing smaller amounts such as pancake or waffle batter and muffins, heating soup or chili in the microwave, making Jell-o for the kids, small salads, and much more. I really wouldn't be without this size. You shouldn't be either.
Every kitchen needs it! January 29, 2006 George Beauchesne (CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Let's face it, if you don't know what Pyrex is you don't belong in the kitchen cooking. They do take a good amount of abuse. Yes, they will break after years of use, but it is just one of those plain old good products that has been around a long time.
You get a case for 36 bucks, not a single cup.... September 29, 2006 T. Ohkawa (Berkeley, CA) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I use the pyrex 1-quart cups in the lab (I'm a biologist), for melting agarose to make DNA gels. I'd used one throughout my graduate work, then bought one for my post-doctoral work. I've just moved to a new lab, and really wanted one, so I willing to pay the 36 dollars for it, since I'd be using a lot over the long term. When it arrived, it came in a big box; you get 8 per order, not one. Nowhere is this mentioned in the product description. And it's well over the 3 lb listed shipping. So be warned that this is actually for a case of eight, not a single cup.
Good product, not as good as the older version January 26, 2007 Ian Boggs (Astoria, Oregon, US) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Pyrex measuring cups are a must for any kitchen. After missing having one for a couple years, I grabbed one off of Amazon. I'm a little disappointed that the glass is thinner than my old one, but other than that, it's exactly the same. At least it weighs less!
