I've been using Nature's Blessing Hair Pomade for the last 5 1/2 years on my hair and when my daughter was born I started using it on her hair. Our hair stays thick and shiny. Then, I introduced my grandma to it as a way to treat her thinning hair and it help her tremendously. This is the best thing to use on your hair if you do not want to use harsh chemicals or treat your hair from the results of harsh chemicals.

I have 6 year old locs so I've been trying all kinds of pomades, creams and gels in my hair for years trying to find a product that wouldn't leave my hair greasy and heavy. THIS IS THAT PRODUCT! I discovered it about two years ago at a street fair in Brooklyn, NY. I only got one jar and when I used it for the first time I was upset that I didn't purchase more. I finally found it again from a street vendor in New Orleans when I visited there. I bought three jars. This stuff is great! It gives moisture, luster and sheen to my hair without making it greasy. It smells wonderful, nothing overpowering, just a natural fresh scent that lasts and lasts. My hair has never looked or felt healthier. I get compliments constantly, all because of this product.

I have been using this for about 15 years now and I love it dearly. It makes my hair so soft and smells GREAT, even after a couple of days, unlike many other products for black hair. It's not too heavy or greasy, doesn't leave buildup on my scalp, and washes out easily. The place I usually get it from closed up shop and I'm so happy I can get it here now!!!

Based on reading the other reviews, I suppose I had higher hopes. Thinking that maybe it was some type of "miracle" product. Once I received it, it just seemed liked any other pomade (grease) I've used in the past. Except it has a distinctive smell, not good or bad just unique. I like more floral smells myself. It seems more organic than most. Maybe it's geared more for people with locs or natural hairstyles. I have a relaxer so greasiness is of concern. Overall, I wasn't impressed, didn't see any significant improvement in hair quality or length. Just seems like something to buy if you're into the whole holistic lifestyle.

I absolutely adore Nature's Blessing Pomade. I first learned of it about eight years ago sitting in my cousin's apartment who lived in Brooklyn. She was oiling her daughter's hair and scalp.. The room was scented with an aroma that smells.. just purely African. You just want to bathe in it right?! & A man I know wears it in his hair and I always want to rub my nose in his scalp everytime I see him. I am so happy with this product. I would love to know who the makers are- there's no phone number on the jar. Does anyone know who makes it? Anyhow, peace & nature's blessings yall ... lv, shah
