My children love these!! August 29, 2007 Eliza Dolittle (Cincinnati) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We've been buying Horizon individual milks for nearly 4 years. My first daughter has never cared much for dairy products, and refuses to drink plain milk, but she'll slurp these up and ask for more! After looking for a flavored alternative to regular milk, I quickly discovered how much junk is added to the popular brands of flavored milks. There are so many artificial flavors, sugar, and perservatives, why even bother? The Horizon milks are not as sugary, but still have great flavor. The part I adore is that they can be stored out of the refrigerator and chilled before serving. That way, they are incredibly portable, especially for travel. All of their flavors are fantastic, but my kids love the strawberry and vanilla best.
Great taste but high in sugar November 7, 2007 Hank's Mom (Stamford, CT United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son loves these drinks (vanilla is his favorite) and I love that they're organic. I just wish the sugar content wasn't so high... It also has a somewhat plastic taste which could come from the container. He doesn't seem to mind that though. And perhaps I notice it b/c I'm not used to "boxed" milk. Still a good product and I appreciate being able to keep it handy without refrigeration.
If only they were on sale all the time. February 28, 2008 T. Frizzell (N. Waterboro, ME) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My kids love these, and what a nice way to get my daughter to drink milk again! Delicious in all the flavors, my kids love them. Only 4 stars because they are $10 more per package than they are at WF. I got them while they were on sale this month from Ama zon, and at the same price as the the other place, but I won't purchase them from Amazon for $25 per case I will just get them at WF, unless of course they go on same again!
Not quite as healthy as you would think March 10, 2008 T. T. Lim (Manila, Philippines) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It's not bad at all, just that it has corn syrup in it. I think it's because it's strawberry flavored instead of plain milk.
Good way to get kids to drink milk April 3, 2008 Auskan (KS, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these to put in my kids' school lunches. It is a treat for them but I'd rather they were drinking chocolate milk and at least getting the calcium/nutrients from the milk, than soda pop, gatorade (sugar water) or fruit punch.
