Easy to use, great strength gains January 3, 2007 D. ERMER (Morristown, NJ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Drill pilot holes before you mount it, the wood screws that it comes with aren't very sharp. Once it's up, you are good to go. I'm over 220lbs and this has no issues supporting me. Nothing like a pull-up bar in your home! You find yourself doing pull-ups for fun (while you wait for water to boil, during commercials when you are watching Sex and the City -JK) and doing pullups is great for getting jacked.

We bought this for our son, who was 5 at the time, and put it in the door of the closet. Worked great for about a year, then one of the brackets bent. Worth the $15!
Great bar October 6, 2008 Mavro (Brooklyn, NY USA) This is a great pull-up bar. It's simple, sturdy, easy to mount, and even easier to remove. I keep it in my foyer doorway all the time and when I'm not doing pull-ups in the mornings and evenings, it doubles as an excellent hangar for my dry-cleaning (until I put them in the closet). Put away the baby blue velour sweat suit (with matching baby blue head band), put down the fork, and forget about those other fancy, over-priced, complicated pull-up contraptions. A pull-up is a pull-up and this bar is all you need to do one. Now stop wasting time reading Amazon reviews, buy this bar, and get to work!
