Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R93QJPSF1KYXM Texmati brown rice is my favorite.I mix it with the beans of my choice, one day it might be lima beans, but when I checked my cupboard yesterday afternoon for which beans,I chose black eyed peas to soak over night.
The result is deliciously indulging.My rice and bean stuffed pepper and some angel hair pasta with my own sauce.
Since I'm going to spend the night at my friends and he doesn't cook, I'm bringing this simple dish in my tupperware container.
This rice is the best.While I'm simmering it,the whole kitchen and dining area and even my bathroom picks up a woody,nutty and exotic scent.I really can smell it cooking from anywhere in my apartment.
If I saw a pretty girl walking by, I might open the window and she'd probably find herself following the scent straight into my kitchen,then I'd really be in trouble because I only cooked enough for one.But I would be a gentleman and allow the lady to have a seat and let her eat my dinner.

Brown rice can be, well, heavy. But Texmati has all the fragrance of basmati rice, the fiber of brown rice and it comes in a wonderful clear square plastic jar that is great for filling with beans or popcorn when it is empty. This rice smells like pecans when cooking and tastes great. You can cook it up as pilaf with raisins, almonds and chicken or vegetable broth for a delicious side dish. Try it also by browning it in olive oil with a half cup of orzo per cup of rice and then make pilaf with broth. It is delicious.

A weekend or week long fast using only rice & green tea works wonders for one's energy level. This rice is very tasty even with just a bit of salt, which makes the week much more pleasant!!
