Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars I think it works, but tough to know for sure   July 9, 2008

I began taking curcumin late-2007 after reading a science article about its' purported mental alertness and other cognitive benefits. I believe the article cited a low incidence of Alzheimer's disease on the Indian subcontinent where turmeric, from which curcumin is derived, has been an important dietary building block for many millenia. (Giving many delicious Indian dishes their familiar orange color.)

As with all supplements, there's no way to say with any certainty what effect it's actually having on me versus not taking it - I can really only go on my instinct, which tells me the curcumin is having a worthy positive effect on my cognition and overall mental alertness.
