 Poor packing for a good product July 28, 2006

I like all of Mrs. Meyer's Lemon Verbena products and was pleased to see them offered here, especially in a case. However, when the packaged arrived I could smell the lemon verbena and soon discovered that the bottom of the box was soaked. A lack of sufficient padding around the interior box combined with rough handling by UPS led to cracked bottles and leaking product. The CSR who handled the damage claim expected me to ship back broken, leaking bottles - I had to explain that neither UPS nor the USPS would accept them. I guess I'll go back to purchasing these products locally.

If you use the gardenia laundry soap and follow it with this delicate fabric softener, you may notice especially soft towels and clothes appearing from the washer. Unlike other less than natural softeners, your clothes won't seem all stuck together. They almost seem fluffy. They also won't have that artificial fragrance that overwhelms a room like someone wearing too much perfume.
Ingredients: Softening ingredients from Plant Derived Sources, Cotton Extract, Essential oils of Lemon, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Clover, Geranium and Fir Needle.
I think you will be especially impressed with this softener and it has unique natural ingredients like cotton extract. Also contains lemon and pepermint oil which makes it especially refreshing and uplifting.
So, with the Mrs. Meyers cleaners and laundry products, you may actually start to look forward to cleaning your house and clothes. While some of the cleaners may seem slightly more expensive, they go a long way and you will probably agree that happiness is worth every scent you pay. I think finding products that make you feel good about helping the environment and make you happy are truly unique and add energy to your life.
The bottle is lighter than most bottles of softener and
it is easy to pour the liquid into a fabric softener ball
like the Downy Ultra one you can find here at Amazon in
the Office section, strangely enough.

i have not tried this fabric softener, but i have bought 4 other mrs meyer's clean day cleaning supplies and LOVE them all, so i assume this one would be just as great! i am not a big fan of cleaning and other household chores, but the day i got mrs meyer's clean day products i went crazy cleaning everything: cleaning the toilet, scrubbing the sink, spraying down and wiping the counters, and doing the dishes-- all with the lavender scented products, our house smelled so good and my hands even smelled great afterwards, not chemically at all! i love this stuff, which says a lot coming from someone who hates household chores.

I Love the Smell of this Line of Products. Clean Day is a great tag line! Not only does it make my fabrics soft but it is better for you. Especially considering that your clothes are in contact with your skin on a daily basis. I feel better using this fabric softener in more ways than one. And when you purchase the bulk package it is not much more expensive as other cheaper brands. I bought this six pack to share with other family members. I highly recommend this fabric softener.
