Geranium Scented Clothes and Towels August 17, 2006 Rebecca Johnson (Washington State) 11 out of 14 found this review helpful
The days of boring laundry duties are long gone as we enter an era of essential oil infused laundry soaps and Zen like experiences of folding dreamy warm naturally scented clothes. The truth is, having the right laundry soap can take the drudgery right out of cleaning your clothes. In fact, using this laundry soap will add beauty to your day. The moment you use this laundry soap you know your laundry is going to be cleaner and fresher and it is true. The minute you take clothes or towels out of the washer you can feel they are softer and cleaner. I also used the geranium scented softener to enhance the experience. While these items seem to be single fragrances, I can see one day soon when entire moods are created with unique scents mixed for laundry soaps. I'd like to see one with pine, lavender, cedar, eucalyptus and orange. At least, that is the fragrance of my current favorite dish soap that I sort of used when I ran out of laundry soap last week. The scent on the towels was gorgeous when you used them later. You can buy this or the lavender laundry soap and make your own variations by adding lilac or more warm and sensuous oils like a blend of Egyptian musk, lavender, patchouli and ylang ylang. I use the sensuous essential oils when washing sheets. ~The Rebecca Review, may be found sprinkling essential oils into softener in experimental fashion P.S. I have on occasion had fun putting some undiluted essential oils on a small cloth and tossing it into the dryer. This has endless possibilities on the day you wash sheets and towels. P.S. II - The Mrs. Meyer's scrubs are also fun to use in the kitchen and bath. You can turn any cleaning duty into a fun aromatherapy experience.

I am addicted to doing laundry now! June 3, 2007 Rose (Florida) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I love this scent! It does a great job of getting the clothes clean, and it's environmentally friendly but, oh my, the scent is just wonderful. I love laundry day now. It makes the whole house smell so fresh. Even outside where the dryer vents. I have a 4 y.o. son who is addicted to his blanket. One day I managed to pry it away from him to wash it just after I'd switched to this detergent. When I gave it back to him, he buried his face in it and said "mommy, there's magic in this blanket. I can smell it!" :cloud9:

Mrs. Meyer's geranium detergent is the best! November 17, 2007 Lisa H (Las Vegas, NV) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I'll never use another detergent again. I ordered a case of this from Amazon and it arrived in 2 days. My fabric softener and dryer sheets were being shipped by another company and I haven't received them yet, so I just started washing my clothes with the detergent and drying them in the dryer and that's it. My clothes smell wonderful and they are soft and most importantly, CLEAN! Plus, I don't need to buy a seperate detergent for my baby, or my delicates, this works perfect for everyone.
