ZZZZZZZZ February 13, 2008 MunchkinMommie (Tennessee) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
Wow. I love this mattress pad! After so long not having a good night's sleep I was willing to try just about anything. A friend has a similar pad and swears by it. So I gave it a try. The pad fluffed up well over about 5 hours and was like laying on a cloud. I had the best night sleep in recent memory. The pillows aren't that thrilling simply because I don't normally like that kind of pillow and they were a little small. But my children love them so no worries, they have new pillows. I would highly suggest that anyone try this pad if you are in search of a good sleep without having to mortgage the house to pay for some of the popular name brands. Now time for a nap! :)
mattress pad and pillows January 17, 2008 Lieza Danan (Davis, CA USA) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I received this set 3 days ago and I've never slept as comfortable as I did this past 2 nights! There are some pros and cons tho in buying this memory foam: 1) The set arrived in a box and the foam was wrapped in plastic to keep it from 'inflating'. I suggest you open the box, remove the plastic wrap and allow the foam to 'breathe' right away so you can use it after 3-5 hours. That will remove the bad odor of the foam and have it to its real size. 2) The memory foam mattress pad was amazing. It made my semi-sunken at the middle mattress so soft and almost flat. Plus my shoulders and neck does not hurt as much anymore when I sleep on my side. 3) The pad was a little small than I expected tho. I purchased the full size pad and it is about 4- 6 inches less in width and 5-8 inches less in length compared to my full sized mattress. 4) I have to admit, the 2 pillows suck. As I quote my boyfriend, they are like pancakes that can easily get squished to flatness. So if you have the option to get the same mattress pad without the 2 pillows for a cheaper price, go get it. Just sharing my rants and raves for this product. I hope this will help you decide.
10 inches too narrow, 8 inches too short, and missing a pillow, but VERY comfortable March 28, 2008 Falcon_01 (Baghdad, Iraq) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I'm in Iraq, and the product wouldn't ship here... I know, being in a war-zone and wanting a good night's sleep with bombs and crap going off. silly me. Anyway, I had it shipped home, and then my wife shipped it to me. I wonder why so many things don't ship to an APO, yet other things do... To the point though, as described in my title- it was 10 inches too narrow for my twin bed, and 8 inches too short. I'm not super tall or super wide, but I still feel constrained to the small space available. I'm 5'10 and a half and my feet hang off the end. I understand the need to make it a little smaller than the mattress so the fitted sheet will fit, but frankly chopping 10 inches off the sides and 8 from the bottom is WAY too much. I wrote Amazon to see about sending the pillow to my wife, and I'll update this review if they send it by giving it another star, if not, I'll update it by taking away a star. I'm tempted to give it fewer stars anyway since it's so jacked up... but honestly, the darned thing IS comfortable, what little of it there is, even with my feet hanging off. It sure makes it a lot easier to sleep after a 12 hour shift and hitting the gym and coming back sore- the mattress alone was harder than sleeping on a cot... with this mattress topper I get a decent night's sleep for a change instead of tossing and turning and having my arms fall asleep if I roll onto my side. That alone makes it worth it... If I had to do it over again, I'd buy a size up and trim it to fit.
Wow! What a difference November 2, 2007 John Amenta (Santa Cruz, CA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
My first night's sleep on this foam mattress made me wonder why I hadn't gotten one sooner. Wow! It really does make a difference (at least it did for me). Slept better and much more insulated. I even think this helped my circulation even. Well worth the price. Be warned: the product comes shipped in a box and the topper is rolled up VERY tight. Unrolling it is a bit of a hassle, then it takes at least 2 to 3 hours before it starts to rise and air gets into the foam. Today (2nd day of ownership) it is still not completely all kinked out, but be patient, it will finally be 3 inches etc. A
Amazing!! April 7, 2007 Serena Jones (brooklyn, ny) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is the best purchase I have ever made. Money very well spent. I have never slept so well. Hip pain used to make fallling asleep difficult for me and with this memory foam mattress pad my joints no longer bother me at night. I have never reviewed a product before, but this product is so great I felt the need to say thank you.
