Although this crock and utensil set is designed to color-coordinate with Le Creuset cookware, the superb quality and choice of colors makes this a great gift for any cook, regardless of his or her cookware brand. The one-quart ceramic crock sits sturdily on the countertop and shows an attractive glaze pattern that fades from dark at the bottom to light at the flared top. Included are six tools with high-heat-resistant silicone heads that won't scratch nonstick pans and remove from the wooden handles for dishwasher cleaning. An excellent multipurpose set for scraping, mixing, serving, and basting, the utensils include a basting brush and five spatulas: mini, small, medium, large spoon-shaped, and jumbo slotted spoon-shaped. These are great spatulas. They have virtually replaced all of my other cooking utensils. I tend to favor the larger ones but will use the smaller ones in a pinch. I have to remember to pop the heads off to wash so the wood handles do not swell and warp in water. I do put the heads in the dishwasher and they come out fine. I have not had a problem with the heads slipping off during use if I pay attention to putting the larger heads on the larger handles. The red is BRIGHT!
I got these through a corporate gift program so they did not cost me anything...I question whether I would spend the money on them though. They are expensive spatulas!

these spatulas don't seem to scrape the bowl clean as nicely and efficiently as does my rubbermaid. instead of a once around with my old scraper, I have to work these spatulas around four or five times. the tops come off (and go back on) quite easily...too easily. they come off when scraping.
here, the name doesn't deliver the goods.

I received this set as a free gift with the purchase of a French oven. It is very handsome, and the crock is well-made. The spatulas are made of very flexible silicone, which is really too soft to be of much use for anything but scraping thin batter. The spoon collapses under the slightest weight. Even rice is too much for it. An attractive free gift, but I would never buy it.

As with all Le Creuset products, this one looks great in my kitchen. But, truthfully, it's awfully expensive for what it is. You really have to set great store in its *looks* when you consider buying this set.

I received my set with the purchase of the 7 1/4 Qt. French oven(red), free.
While I do not mind paying top dollar for the best, this "gift" seemed to ease the pain. I use one or more item in the set every day! and it is very useful, from heat resistance to stain resistance the product works! The items in the set are thought out by people in the kitchen, from the kitchen, for the kitchen. What more can I say,
If given as a present to someone, the receipient will think of the gifter every time they enter the kitchen. They are a good deal better than any other spatula I've ever used. SPF
