Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Versace designed Russian Dream in the spirit of the Russian jewelry company, Faberge, creator of fabulous gold and enameled Easter eggs for the Czar. Russian Dream dinnerware brings a sense of luxury and mystique to the table, in the pastel tones one might associate with Easter. A number of porcelain gift items complement the dinnerware, including this gracefully flared 7-inch vase with a trellised, lemon-yellow body. Crowning the vase is a blue border overlaid with leafy gold vines and a whisper of spring green. The rim and inside of the vase remain a glossy white. Ever since Versace, Italy's provocative house of haute couture, and Rosenthal, one of Germany's most prestigious porcelain companies, teamed up in 1993, the resulting dinnerware and gift collections have made spectacular waves. Classical and wildly imaginative themes leap to life with uninhibited combinations of color and line. Each Russian Dream piece comes secured inside a Versace box, sure to both delight and impress the recipient. After displaying cut flowers or a favorite potted orchid, the vase may be safely cleaned in the dishwasher. --Ann Bieri
