Perfect for breakfast fruit or after-dinner sorbet, this versatile set of four petite fruit saucers will be pulled out again and again. Designed by Mikasa and part of the Antique White dinnerware line, these charming dishes fit somewhere between a bowl and a plate. With a depth measuring 1-1/4 inches, the dish can cradle soupier contents such as ice cream or pudding and can even handle small portions of cereal or stew. Made of strong fine china, the all-white dishes are chip-resistant and carry a subtly scalloped edge around its opening. Following this wavy outline are a series of small ridges that combine to form a flower-like shape around the perimeter. Attractive, yet subtle enough to work with any dinnerware, these bowls can be used on their own or set with other pieces from the same collection for a coordinated look. Classic design - useful size February 19, 2007

These little bowls nest perfectly. They hold 2/3 cup liquid in the bowl portion (up to the edge). I'm using them for fruit (of course) and for ice cream. Two average scoops look quite generous.
