Amazon.com Review These glasses are beautifully weighted, dishwasher-safe, and sturdy without feeling clunky. The double old-fashioned glass is 4-1/2 inches tall and holds 14-1/2 ounces; the cooler glass is 6 inches tall and holds 17 ounces. There are eight of each per set. Are these glasses cobalt blue? Midnight blue? Ink blue? Whatever association the color conjures, it is the deepest, most sumptuous blue around. And whether blue glass sends your imagination sailing off to the Mediterranean or to Bristol, England (famous for its blue glass since the 17th century), with these glasses, bubbly water with a wedge of lemon becomes a sacrament. --Erin Brown
Product Description A bright burst of vibrant hues for your decor, this glassware set features a beautiful cobalt color sure to enhance any color scheme or decor.

Beautiful glasses January 26, 2001 atmj (Rochester, NY USA) 70 out of 73 found this review helpful
This is a beautiful set of glasses. The cobalt blue is intense. Though they are priced inexpensively the quality and experience drinking out of these glasses seems extraordinary. The sizes provided in this set of glasses is a welcome addition to your table. At 4-1/2 inches tall holding 14-1/2 ounces and 6 inches tall holding 17 ounces, these two sizes are perfect for most beverages. Most sets provide you with three graduated sizes of 6 each and the smallest is always just a little too small. This set of 8 of each size acknowledges what most people need. The feel and the weight of these glasses complement the intense color. They are thick enough so you have a comfortable rim to drink from. This thickness makes them a slightly heavier glass that feels really durable. Originally I was worried the top flare may make them more suseptible to tipping, however, this does not seem to be true. The combination of weight and flare seemed to be balanced enough to give you a stable glass. At home my teenage children vie for who gets the blue glasses, so I know it isn't just me.
Nice to look at, but not durable! December 1, 2002 L. M. WEST (Panama City Florida) 40 out of 48 found this review helpful
I bought these about 4 months ago, because they got good reviews, and I really liked the color. However, they have not held up at all. The first two that broke, I convinced myself that we were too rough with them. One by one they went though. We bought two sets, and have 5 glasses left. Is it possible to get a bad batch of glass? I would give them 5 stars if I bought them as disposable glasses. If you own these, hold them up to the light, and you might discover cracks in yours too. They are not always easy to spot. And, sure they stack, but good luck getting them apart. Glad I got them at a good price, or I would be disgruntled, rather than annoyed.
These are great glasses, stylish yet simple and to the point September 15, 2002 Music fun in NYC (New York) 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
I bought these glasses because I needed some more drinking glasses when I entertained and had guests over. (Plus sometimes I ran out of something to drink out of before I ran the dishwasher). These glasses were perfect. The glass is thick so it feels very comfortable to put to your lips and drink with. They are very easy to get clean without a lot of ridges to get dried stuff caught up in. The color is very stylish and I have gotten a lot of comments on the cool glasses. They are very much worth the price. PS. They match perfectly if you are serving Skyy vodka or are drinking Skyy Blue drinks. It looks like you planned a whole bar set.

Handy Set For Anyone Not Really Roughing It! July 14, 2002 Barron Laycock (Temple, New Hampshire United States) 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
We bought a set of these because we have anumber of friendds who lend us time and effort with the new cabin in the woods. So when they show up and help with yardwork or doing the clapboard cedarshakes on the cabin, they brave the heat and the bugs. To show them how much we appreciate it, we make sure they are plied with plenty of lemonade or springwater, and giving it to them in a glass like this is the way to go. The glasses speak of quiet elegance, and is not what anyone roughing it expects. But everyone is also careful not to scratch or break them. That said, these glasses have a hefty and substantial feel to them, are also dishwasher-safe, and are nice and hefty in one's hand. The smaller double old-fashioned glass is 4-1/2 inches tall and holds 12 ounces of fluid with ice, and the taller "cooler" glass is 6 inches tall and will hold sixteen ounces of beverage with ice. The glasses are a very deep blue, and are very attractive and distinctive. We really enjoy them, and they have been sturdy enough to last us the better part of year undamaged. We highly recommend them. Enjoy!
