Holding 16 ounces each, these heavy mugs are shaped for serving beer in traditional style. They're made of thick glass, so you can frost them in the freezer and then use them to keep beer cold to the last swig. Though the mugs' insides are perfectly round, the exteriors have 10 facets. Perfect for root beer floats as well as beer, the mugs measure 9-1/8 inches high and 3-3/8 inches in diameter. They're durable and dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack

I live in Heidelberg and have never seen a mug here that looks like this. However, anything that holds beer is worthy of five stars in my book.

The very thick glass used for these mugs makes them perfect for freezing. Fabulous quality, and shipped in perfect condition. They made a great gift.

I ordered these mugs for my brother for Christmas. I received the first set and one had a broken handle, despite the great lengths Amazon went to to protect them in shipping. The second set I received had a mug shattered and another one broken. Luckily between the two sets, I can piece together a complete set. If it wasn't so close to Christmas I would try to find some mugs elsewhere.

I ordered 3 sets (12 glasses) of these for Christmas, and none of them arrived broken or otherwise damaged. They are very thick mugs and great for frosting. For the price, you can't beat them.
