Amazon.com Review Ideal for tight cooking areas, this half-round pot rack from Old Dutch is a space-efficient way to keep pots handy and leave headroom in small kitchens. The plated steel frame is lightweight but strong and features a three-point wall-mount construction. Spacious in grid and perimeter, it gives you plenty of options for hanging your pots, pans, and utensils. Removable for cleaning, the grid also provides storage for lids and bowls. All 12 hooks--six straight and six angled--are movable to accommodate an evolving cookware collection. Both chip- and rust-resistant, the matte graphite finish cleans up with a damp cloth. Assembly of this rack is simplewe had it together in just a few minutes. --Emily Bedard

Buy it! It's the greatest little pot rack around! February 4, 2003 31 out of 31 found this review helpful
Please read all of this.I was looking for a small pot rack. I have a gally kitchen, and space is limited. It's perfect. Compact, as others have stated. I have 2 All-Clad pots, 2 All-Clad frying pans, 2 Revere Ware copper pots, and 1 large 7lb Viking saute pan hanging. I have all associated lids neatly stored in the rack above. There's room for more. I have been an aviation tech for 35 years. This is an extremely well made kit, and will take about 45 minutes for a novice to assemble and install. I recommend putting tension on the support straps (the top mount bolt) when you mount it. The straps, although very substantial, tend to relax with added weight, and allow the shelf to droop slightly.
Attractive Spacesaver! December 30, 2002 moonbeams (NYC USA) 29 out of 30 found this review helpful
I bought this item to replace a round ceiling-mounted pot rack. I couldn't be more pleased with this wall rack. It is much more stable than my previous rack and it takes up less space. I'm confused by the reviewer's statement that the rack only holds 3-4 pans. I have around 2 dozen pots hanging on mine! I am using all the hooks included with this rack as well as some from my previous pot rack. I could actually hang a couple more, but I'm concerned that the wall may not be able to hold too much more weight. The only problem I had with this rack is assembly. I assembled it alone but I recommend having a helper as it's nearly impossible to hold all the slats in the correct curved position without assistance.
Nice but small... December 12, 2004 N (Brownsville, TX United States) 24 out of 25 found this review helpful
I bought this rack to accomodate some of the pots that were overcrowding my ceiling mounted gourmet rack. This rack is very nice... it looks cute in my small kitchen.. it's well constructed and sturdy. As another reviewer noted, mine also came with the back bar assembled upside down... so in order to complete the assembly required at home I needed to unscrew the thing completely and put it together again...no big deal... it just took me a few minutes. I also agree with the reviewer who said that you cannot hang twelve pots on this rack. It comes with twelve hooks but I see no way in which that amount of pots can fit in this one. It's just too small for that. At the moment I have only 5 items hanging from the rack, all of them shallow items such as a griddle, some skillets and the like. I think it can accomodate one or two more items... nothing more than that. In terms of sturdiness I really believe the rack can hold the 12 items it is intended for... in terms of space no more than 7. Also be careful when balancing the items on the grid since it's not secured to the rack in any way so if you place a heavy item on one side, it might pull the grid down to the floor. I'd recommend that you keep a heavy pan on the center of the grid to avoid this problem. In a few words, the Half Round Pot Rack is a good buy... just don't expect it to solve your cabinet space problems.

I have lots of cast iron, and it was always stacked in a cupboard - difficult to maneuver when you wanted the one on the bottom! My husband mounted this rack on the stud over my sink last year and it has since held 6 hefty cast iron skillets and pans, three revereware pans, and a huge nonstick skillet, plus the lids on top of the grid. Bravo!
