Practical and spacious August 7, 2007 Ellen Clancy (Bronx, NY) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The rubbermaid dish drainer in black is big enough to accomodate a large dish rack for a full load of dishes. The price--in comparison with offers from other companies--is great and it looks fine in the kitchen. My only concern is that water doesn't really drain into the sink since the slant/design doesn't force the small accumulations from dripping dishes downward. Therefore, I do have to clean/wipe it regularly. It's a great size, though, and a nice deal for the price.
Cheaper design. July 12, 2007 ChiChi (San Francisco) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
I recently bought this to replace my previous, 15-year old Rubbermaid dish drainer, which I loved, but which had gotten rusted. This one is not the same design as the previous one. On the original, there was a strip of wire that ran horizontally around the basket, about one inch from the bottom. This strip kept glasses above the edge of the counter. The new design is flimsier and less sanitary, with the edge of the glasses resting on the counter. You also need to be more careful putting the glasses on the prongs on the side, as they could drop against the edge of the counter and crack.
For those who don't think dish drainers should grab your attention... May 12, 2007 Nancy Hildebrandt (Livermore, CA USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Well, this is your typical square Rubbermaid dish drainer, but I love the black color, and it's nice to know it's anti-microbial. Stainless steel seems so popular now, but in my small kitchen it would tend to become the focal point.
What a shame! January 9, 2007 D. Howell (Burbank, CA, USA) 3 out of 16 found this review helpful
This is either a knock-off or Rubbermaid is yet another company whose products have gone into the third-world pooper.
Great Rubbermaid Product October 3, 2007 M. Eckert (Reston, VA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Rubbermaid small dish drainer in black is just the right size to fit the small side of my new stainless sink and goes well with granite counter and stainless appliances. Rubbermaid dish drainers have always been top quality and this is no exception.
