The heavy cast iron pot with a tight fitting lid provides a blanket of heat which gently and evenly cooks food, sealing in moisture and flavour, whether on the stove top or in the oven. The porcelain enamel coating is non-reactive and won't absorb food odours or flavours, and is dishwasher safe.

Made of porcelain-enamelled cast iron, which absorbs heat quickly, distributes it evenly and gently, and retains the heat long after removal from the heat source. The even thickness of the cast iron base, walls, and lid means that heat distribution is even and energy efficient. The cookware is coated with two coats of vitrified enamel for extra durability; the hygienic, impermeable enamelled surface means the cookware can be used for marinating food prior to cooking or for food storage after cooking, and protects the cookware against rusting. Suitable for use on on the stovetop, in the oven, and under the grill, as well as being suitable for all heat sources, including induction. The lid's phenolic handle is oven safe to 356 F/180C.
