Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Best all-around Linux magazine   December 14, 2002

I've been reading Linux Magazine since it first came out and have never been disapointed. It covers software from the kernel to X applications. The articles don't get as in-depth as Linux Journal but give a good overview.

The magazine also reviews Linux compatable hardware from full systems to add-ons.

A well ballanced magazine and always interesting reading.

I ordered this magazine for my fiance in DECEMBER. It is mid-March and he still HAS NOT received the subscription. I do not recommend.

2 out of 5 stars Good for Linux experts but not for the beginner or intermediate   July 20, 2007

There are several magazines that are much better than this one. Linux Format is probably #1, Linux Pro Magazine is probably #2. However, they are priced ridiculously high...about $150 to $200 per year!!! NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY!!

It is more than about time the Linux magazines started offering subscriptions without the DVD's or online .PDF version to lower the costs. Until then, I will stick with the MANY online resources and FREE online magazines out there.

I ordered this magazine 3 month ago and I still have not received the first magazine and there is no way that you can not contact them. I do not recommend this magazine.
