Great Source of Porsche Information December 9, 2002 P. Kwan (San Jose, CA United States) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This magazine is all about Porsche cars - current models and past models with valuable information on resale costs, mechanical tips, and lot's of Porsche vendor information. There are many articles on what other readers are experiencing with their cars and lot's of input from the editors. It is a good addition to any Porsche fanatic's reading.
Must Read June 11, 2004 M. J Bauer (Commerce Township, MI USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is a great magazine for both owners and fans of Porsche. Bruce Anderson's columns alone are a good enough reason to purhcase it. The mix of topics makes it a magazine for everyone; from reviews of the latest and greatest to articles on older Porsches which well within the reach of any enthusiast. I have subscribed for many years and can't conceive of it not arriving in my mailbox. The market section and owner reports make it invaluable for someone looking to purchase a Porsche (no one would sell one would they?), I have been trying hard not to to use excellent or excellence in this description, but quite frankly it is an excellent magazine!
Simply the best May 13, 2005 John H. Rice (S.F. bay area) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I read a quantity of automotive magazines. I have been driving, modifying, and enjoying Porsches since the late 60s. If your interests lie in Porsche-land, the hands down best magazine is "excellence". From the early days when it was called "Porsche" [PCNA didn't like that and forced a name change], through the latest issue, "excellence" has always had the best, most original reading on the planet. Sure, sometimes they have inaccurate technical information and incorrect specifications. Sometimes their writers and editors have missed the enthusiast's point. BUT, nothing else even comes close for issue after issue of superior reading enjoyment. All I can say is keep them coming! John Rice
Excellence was expected February 18, 2004 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Great magazine with minimum fluff for advertisements. Good technical articles and an interesting mix of street and track and restoration. Nice to see original articles and columns not recyclyed stuff like I used to see in R & T and Car & Driver before I cancelled them.If you are an enthusiast then this magazine will be your first read ...even before pano.
have not received January 18, 2007 nbspc (boston) 2 out of 10 found this review helpful
Typically, I am the biggest Amazon fan out there. I have not, however, received any notice of my subscription other than the charge for it. I did not use the gift option to order this for my husband, which was my mistake. When I contacted the designated customer service to explain that I wanted the recipient's name changed(not the address)as well as some notice that the magazines would be coming, I received no response. I assume that we will start to receive after the stated "6-9 weeks delivery" but the lack of response is disappointing.
