Best Gun Magazine October 24, 2007 Gunner (Bethlehem,Georgia) 25 out of 26 found this review helpful
Guns and Ammo Out of all the gun magazines out there, I believe that Guns and Ammo (G&A) is the best. I'm getting a subscription for my stepson this Christmas ( I'll get it sent to me so that I can read it first and then give it to him each month), Highly recommended for gun enthusiasts. Good, but there's only so much you can say July 15, 2003 Michael J Edelman (Huntington Woods, MI USA) 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
When I was a regular shooter I found G&A interesting, but after a few years you notice there's only so much news out there. Maybe a few articles after the annual shows, and once every few years something new like the .17 rimfire comes along. But after a few years you notice the same articles start showing up with depressing regularity. How many times can you read "30-06 or .308- which is better?" or "Is the .30-30 obsolete?" or (and this is the worst) "Stopping Power: What are the facts?" I ended up dropping all my shooting magazines except American Rifleman. That seems to be enough.
Junk Phonecalls Forever ... July 19, 2002 Robert W Clark (Augusta, GA United States) 13 out of 23 found this review helpful
... after my subscription expired. They looked up my phone number and sold it to every phone marketer there is. The magazine is OK, but look out if you ever drop it.
Nice Info February 27, 2002 10 out of 12 found this review helpful
This magazine is probably one of the best out there for up to date information on ammo and some of the new pistols and remakes coming out there. There are literally 1000's of types of guns and ammo. And this mag breaks it down into a pretty good and understandable format even for the novice. If your just getting into the scene or a veteran you both will find that this magazine is good for the latest news and information on whats hot and whats not when it comes to ammo and guns. On a bad note however I've notice alot less reviews on handguns and more on high caliber rifles. Anyway its still a good mag.
Best Overal Shooting Mag April 6, 2007 K. Kohl (Massillon, Ohio USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is one of the best shooting magazines on the market today. Gives great reviews of low end and top end firearms
