Gives new (and old) ideas to start faithful traditions in your family. Inspiring accounts of people living and/or converting to the Catholic faith. Refreshingly faithful to the magisterium. A great gift for a young Catholic family.

5 out of 5 stars A must have for every Catholic family!   August 12, 2007

Faith & Family magazine has been an asset to our family life for several years now. This magazine has something for everyone and should be in the home of every Catholic family. A great resource and support for those of us trying to live out a life of faith and nourish our children with a culture of life rather than a culture of death. This magazine has fun, practical ideas for all aspects of family life from recipes to party ideas, from decluttering kids' rooms to praying with little ones. Excellent articles and stories that address the needs and real life situations of so many families. I wait in anticipation for the arrival of each issue and read it cover to cover. Even the ads are supportive, educational and encouraging. Worth every penny and an excellent use of the media to promote the faith!

The July/ August Issue arrived as a sample for my daughter who joined a Challenge Girl's club this year. If you've never seen this publication you should skip the next Better Homes or Catholic Digest and try it. This month's has a very complete and Joyous look at vocations. Daria Sockey looks at summer reading from a busy mom's perspective and actually listed many I have not bben able to read yet.
Those of us who are fans of Danielle Bean will not be disappointed! In Danielle's corner she has lots of great summer ideas and on The Back Porch, (last page of the magazine) she has an essay called The Last Love Language. As always she makes the later years of marriage look better than the honeymoon.

5 out of 5 stars I love this magazine!   August 9, 2007

I love this magazine and I recommend it to friends at every chance. It's photography and graphic are on par with any major magazine on the market. The articles are well written and address many life issues with a clear and thoughtful Catholic perspective. My favorite part of the magazine is the entertainment section which reviews books, movies and music by age range. If you're looking for a great family magazine, Catholic or otherwise, get this one!

5 out of 5 stars REAL...not fluff!   August 9, 2007

Looking for a magazine with minimal advertising? Looking for a magazine that talks about REAL issues? (not 'The best hats to wear at the bus stop') Looking for a magazine that has a positive atmosphere about it? (July/August 07: Benefits of Boredom--incredible article) Other mags take the same spin every summer and list ideas for you to do with your kids like 'Boredom Busters'...same list (different photo)...only a few are actually useable. Looking for a magazine to read--not skim?
Here it is---Faith & Family!
