A Combo of Enigma, Delerium and Deep Forrest. May 30, 2008 F. Krubl (Chicago, IL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Toss Enigma, Delerium, and Deep Forrest into a pot.... mix it up.... and what you get is Mysteria. Great New Age albumb for anyone who likes any of the bands previously mentioned. Peaceful, but has a beat. I love it to get me thru the work day. Pop it in, and just hit repeat-all for 8 hours. I don't get tired of it, and there is not a single song on here that I don't love. Amazon originally recommended this CD to me.... and I must admit, this is probably the best recommendation I have every received!
A great album! January 3, 2008 Female Reader (Los Angeles, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This album is terrific! Do yourself a favor and buy it, you won't be sorry. You will be transported to another place, a more peaceful one.
Easy Listening at its Finest January 3, 2008 Halcyon (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like this album and have it on many of my iPod's playlists--yoga/meditation, easy listening/study, and rock. Some of the lyrics are a bit hoaky, but the music itself is great. While entertaining, several of my guests at several parties have inquired what's on the stereo system. Its medieval meets 80s-esque style rock, ambient and delicious to the ears. Very original, in my opinion of course, and it remains a cornerstone of my vast and still growing eclectic collection.
An Unimaginable Gift.... January 2, 2008 Nicole 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This cd is a must have!! I have spent the past several months purchasing many similar cds within this genre and what can I write....other than this is my absolute favorite! The mixes, the songs, the tracks are all sublime, echoing deeply, resonantly, within. Sometimes, it feels as if it has been so very long since my soul has awakened to its truth, a remembrance of its dance, *THIS* dance 'we' so often call Life. "Elixir For Sunsets" is one such remembrance... Be still. Be silent. Listen. For that is but all it takes with these divine, ambient, seductive, fluid, inspired harmonies to know you are home. If only you but have the ears to listen... This cd has been such an unanticipated, unimaginable gift. Thank you! Enjoy!
Sophisticated and Relaxing January 2, 2008 Sarah G. Mircheff (Los Angeles, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really enjoy listening to Mysteria. Whenever I play Tempting the Muse for my friends, I find myself saying "I love this song!" to every one of the tracks. The way the artist overlays the instrumentation with the vocals makes the resulting sound even more than the sum of its parts. I find it very calming and soothing. I also play this CD to bring down my stress.
