4 out of 5 stars Not as good as the first one but....   August 29, 2000

This little collection has a few real gems on it, however, there's also quite a bit of stuff that could have been left off. There is some demo material and some live tracks that lack luster, although they do provide a little insight into the band and give a slight glimpse of their live sound. There are a few tracks which really stand out well - it validates the purchase of the CD - especially if you're already a fan of I.G. or S.T. If this is your first experience with I.G., I would strongly recommend their first "The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move" CD - this will have a greater impact than this CD or the one that followed this one. Sarsippius III returns to narrate this CD, instead of simply annoying security in their first release. This band rocks - the guitarist is phenomenal - bass is unbelievable - drummer is very enthusiastic. Awesome!

5 out of 5 stars A kickin mix of suicidal tendancies and old school funk.   June 4, 1999

This cd rocks. One minute it your shaking your booty to 70's style funk and the next you are lacing up your boots and trying to start a pit in the living room. I also love the extra heavy cover of the David Bowie classic Fame. Anyone who is a fan of Suicidal Tendencies should check this disk out

5 out of 5 stars Stompin' Thrash Funk at it's musical best, homez!   March 31, 2004

I played this at least once a day for about a year! As a fan of SxTx and I.G. this to me was great. A great mix of heavy rhythms teeming with tha fonk and obscure but clever and fun lyrics. Very musical but very hard/smooth.
I also recommend Groove Family Cyco which is the best sounding album they did. Violent and Funky has to be an absolute classic.
Hardcore - and then they swich it to the smooth, it's the Infectious Grooves. PEACE X

Great, refreshing and original funky metal. The basslines are incredibly groovy and the hole sound is tight. Special emphasis to the the coverversion of Led Zepplin's 'Immigrant song'. Never heard such a witty interpretation.
