Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The recently reborn Blind Melon will release their first studio album in thirteen years this spring. It introduces new singer Travis Warren as a replacement for late front man Shannon Hoon, who died in 1995. Warren joins original members Rogers Stevens, Christopher Thorn, Brad Smith, and Glen Graham. "This record's a great rock 'n' roll record," Warren says. "It's kind of like (1995's) 'Soup' - the more you listen to it, the more it grows on you." Without eschewing familiar Blind Melon sounds, the album ventures off on tracks like "Sometimes". According to Warren, "We definitely want to experiment and do different things."

5 out of 5 stars Finally!   April 22, 2008

Finally new material from one of my favorite bands Blind Melon. From start to finish this album is excellent, this is one of those albums you listen to from start to finish without skipping over tracks.

I was fortunate enough to see Blind Melon in concert in Dallas and I was absolutely blown away by their performance. The band hasn't changed one bit since the passing of Shannon Hoon, and with the adding of Travis T. Warren on vocals the band is better than ever! Though Travis cannot take Shannon's place he does an amazing job on vocals, I was very pleased.

If you're an old fan and are skeptical about a new guy taking Shannon's place, I urge you to pick up this album... you will be blown away.

5 out of 5 stars Blind Melon is back!   April 22, 2008

With a blessing from former singer Shannon Hoon's own mother, Blind Melon is back in name and sound. With a new singer, Travis Warren, they deliver 13 new tracks that will please both old and new fans alike. This album is one hit after the other, and I highly recommend it to anyone who (like me) is tired of everything on the radio that sounds the same. The band is also touring all over the United States, so get the CD and go see a show!

5 out of 5 stars The Long Awaited Return...   April 22, 2008

Like Soup, this album will continue to grow on you. I actually got it Friday at the Dallas stop on Blind Melon's tour and have been listening to it ever since. It gets better with each listen. I have to say, after the show the other night, which was completely amazing, I got to meet the band and talk with them for quiet a while and they are all completely genuine and it really shows in the music. They do care about the fans and their old friend Shannon.

Just finished listening to the entire album and it is great. Some songs sound a little over produced. Great feeling album! Good Job.
